This article from The Atlantic appears to be a fair, open-eyed assessment on the current problems in the UK and HOW they came about. Amazingly the problems are NOT all the fault of Brexit.

Seeing your name on an OP with the term 'balanced review' is at best, laughable.

to start: October 19, 2022 - date of article.

author: Tom McTAgue (look him up, see how regularly balanced he is)

The article isn't 'from the Atlantic' it's 'In' the Atlantic. The article is from Tom McT.

Now stating the problems are not ALL the fault of Brexit, might sound revealing to you -- being of a one-dimensional, partisan mindset, but most thinking people would assume that.

the OPINION(s) of Tom mcT., are ok. Much more has been written on the 'causes' of issues in Great Britain since October of last year. And GB's 'malaise'??? Tie it to Brexit? Who's doing that?

But you do get a B-for effort.
