Harris wants to abolish private insurance

This is what she said :

“The idea is that everyone gets access to medical care, and you don’t have to go through the process of going through an insurance company, having them give you approval, going through the paperwork, all of the delay that may require,” she said Sunday in a CNN Town Hall. “Let’s eliminate all of that, let’s move on.”

Of course the righty MO is to cherry pick a word or two out of context to fit their agenda .

Your selective hearing is kicking in.

He is correct. She didn't actually say eliminate all private health insurance. That's what is being speculated by some.

Here comes the backtracking. Wow! This early?

Backtracking what?
The fact that she wants to abolish private insurance. Keep up with the conversation.

When did she say that?

Wow! Can’t research what your candidate said? Typical.

Oh, now she's my candidate?

I asked you a simple question which you can't seem to answer. Why is that?

A good deal of the world already has outlawed for profit health insurance. Predatory, care rationing for profit, zero value added. And these countries have better healthcare outcomes. Are you really this unaware?

Examples?
IF you were curious you would not require forced feeding. Don't care enough to do some due dilligence? OK then.

Nope. You're lying. Nice try though. In EVERY country the wealthy get better healthcare than the middle class and or poor.

One thing is for certain which is the federal government shouldn't be forcing people into contractual relationships with private companies of any kind.

All of the talk about government run healthcare is laughable, it's the private insurance companies who are using the power of the federal government to force people to buy their products. That's what lobbyists for these companies do. Government enforced commerce is more true to what's going on. And this turns the right to freedom of association on is head.

The merge of corporation and state is fascism, no matter how you spin it. And it's been a bipartisan affair.

You made the claim. The onus is on you to provide the evidence, not for others to do the research on your behalf.

I'll be more than happy to post the same extensive list of sources and studies that I've posted here before that everyone always either runs from or refuses to accept if ya like. But in my experience it will matter not at all. Amerians do not think, they believe. If they thought, they would dig for themselves.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn, slogans. And a conpletely different argument.

But the UK and Canada can illustrate waits too.

But yeah, the OP was at best disingenuous

5 month wait on average to see a specialist in Canada. The longest I have ever waited to see a specialist was a dermatologist when I lived in South Carolina and that was six weeks.

Waiting Your Turn: Wait Times for Health Care in Canada, 2018 Report
Yeah, again the OP is at best disingenuous, but anyone touting Medicare for All needs to address the inaccessablity of socialized care. We already spend more per capita than the UK or Canada (or anybody) so it's not like there's a lack of money to have single payor without long waits. And there are savings to be had in primary (non specialist care) because physician asst's with 3 years post-grad experience are replacing full blown internists in treating a lot of stuff like wounds and flu.

My very good friend lives in Madrid. He comes from a very wealthy family and per him, medical care is NOT equal in Spain.

No. It is not . You said "These countries have better healthcare outcomes". Simply not true unless you're talking about the wealthy. I am 100% calling you a liar. And you're an anti semite too but that is a debate for a different day.

LIAR!

I did. I don't see her stating that anywhere. Three pages now and none of you have been able to quote her saying that either.

Don't get me wrong, I don't doubt for one second that's a goal she might want to ultimately see, but she did not state so in this interview, or any other that I can find, and that's what this thread is about. The OP made an erroneous claim.

Like I said pard, I'll post the list of studies this evening. Again. Don't have it on me at this moment. Will your attention span last?

It's a goal we should have accomplished long ago. For profit insurance adds nothing, no value added at all.

What studies? Do you agree or disagree that those with $$$ have access to better healthcare than those that do not, regardless of the country they live in. Simple question. Let's see if your simple mind can answer it.

Zero? Really? LMAO.

I found out firsthand that this is another lie by you, Houston. At least you're a consistent liar.
