    he still holds a number of records but the most impressive, imo, is the single season +/- record of +124.

    Indeed.

    And for all his scoring prowess, people sometimes forget just how great a defenseman he was. I think his 8 consecutive Norris trophies is also a record. And in two of those seasons he also led the league in scoring. I don't think anyone else has ever done that once, let alone twice. It's like having Ray Bourque and Wayne Gretzky rolled into one.
