Man who was shot in the head in front of shoppers released from hospital
A MAN who was shot in the head in front of terrified Christmas shoppers has been released from hospital.
Christopher Jopson was blasted with a shotgun on Eastbank Street in Southport town centre last Thursday. The ECHO understands the blast hit the victim on the back of his head.
Jopson, in his 20s, was not seriously injured and he has now been released from hospital.
The day time shooting sparked a major police response in the town, just days before Christmas.
