Grammys Carpet Faces Stalled Arrivals Due to Pro-Palestine Protest; Annie Lennox Calls For Ceasefire During Performance

well the pro palestine protestors were blocking the grammys now. they found new place to inter fear with. bet it didnt last long.
Those people have more protection than the president. Robbers would have an easier chance knocking over a casino than they would Grammy invites! lol

I would be more impressed if they also called for a U.S. ceasefire.

During the Grammys, Annie Lennox paid tribute to Sinéad O’Connor during a lengthy in memoriam segment, in which she covered the late musician’s signature song, “Nothing Compares 2 U.” At the end of the performance, Lennox lifted her left hand and said, “Artists for ceasefire, peace in the world.”

Lennox later elaborated on her statement during the ceremony with a post on social media, stating that she is “neither anti-Semitic nor pro-Hamas” but that “the value of life has been reduced less to zero” in the conflict.

I didn't see her remarks but thanks for posting them. Not a lot to argue with there.

Ricky gervais is a genius that nailed about celebrities being political.

Who watches award shows to begin with?

These people make obscene mounts of money, catered to everywhere they go, are paid constant attention to, are famous, go allover the world and are treated like royalty. And even still they need an awards show to pay tribute to them for getting all of that just for doing their job?

I mean I love music and all but so what if someone I like wins a an award? That doesn't mean anything to me, doesn't do anything for me.

And fuck Annie and her political bullshit she uses as a way to make it about her.
