Gov. Cuomo Rejected Buying 16,000 Ventilators in 2015 for Pandemic, Established Death

I wanted to punch him right in the nose through my TV screen while he was crying this afternoon....he botched it by not buying them when he had the opportunity....
Did Fat Donnie make some serious cuts at Bolton's request?
Don't know but we're are still at war...a war Obama couldn't win...by the way....don't cover up for Cuomo's failings....he screwed up....admit it....

You do the same when it comes to deflecting. Admit it.

The man was warned in 2015 and the best he could do was hand it off to a task-force. Which in turn made all sorts of excuses. Now Cuomo is whimpering about the lack of ventilators of which e was warned about 5-years ago. And seeks to blame someone else when all he has to do is look into any mirror to see where the blame lies.

...
After learning that the state's stockpile of medical equipment had 16,000 fewer ventilators than New Yorkers would need in a severe pandemic, Gov. Andrew Cuomo came to a fork in the road in 2015. He could have chosen to buy more ventilators. Instead, he asked his health commissioner, Howard Zucker to assemble a task force and draft rules for rationing the ventilators they already had.
That task force came up with rules that will be imposed when ventilators run short. Patients assigned a red code will have the highest access, and other patients will be assigned green, yellow or blue (the worst) depending on a "triage officer's" decision. In truth, a death officer. Let's not sugarcoat it. It won't be up to your own doctor.
Cuomo could have purchased the additional 16,000 needed ventilators for $36,000 apiece or a total of $576 million in 2015. It's a lot of money but less than the $750 million he threw away on a boondoggle "Buffalo Billion" solar panel factory. When it comes to state budget priorities, spending half a percent of the budget on ventilators is a no brainer.
Now the pandemic is actually here. Cuomo's grim reaper rules will be applied. New York City's deputy commissioner for disease control Demetre Daskalakis is anticipating "some very serious difficult decisions." So far, in New York City, 1 out of every 4 people with a confirmed case has been hospitalized, and 44% of them have needed a ventilator.
The task force claimed there was no point in buying ventilators because there's also a shortage of doctors and nurses trained to use them. Five years ago, that problem could have been fixed, too. Even now, the National Disaster Medical System can send staff to hot spots like New York.

Unfortunately, this is the same predicament we can expect soon in most States. So Cuomo is not alone.

And this is what I'm talking about...this is what every decent American should have a problem with
Priorities

These people are not, nor have been, responsibly handling our money or affairs

By 2014, the amount Americans were on the hook for since the end of '07
when they started a bailout and stimulus tab for us and countless future generations
has ranged anywhere from $24 Trillion to upwards of $64 Trillion

$24 TRILLION DOLLARS, at THE LEAST, they put taxpayers on the hook for,
and what did we buy for ourselves, our children, their children,.....
financial stability for the wealthy and delayed consequences for us

They put us on the hook for solar energy companies like Solyndra
knowing full well, it wasn't going to do anything for our economy
or the over 8 million people suddenly unemployed

Over $800 million dollars Solyndra took by the time they filed for bankruptcy

They spent $3 BILLION on cash for clunkers

They used less than $4 BILLION DOLLARS, opposed to the $75 BILLION first appropriated
to prevent LESS THAN 1 million homeowners from losing their homes
as opposed to helping 3-4 million homeowners keep their homes

They sent $250 to SS, SSI recipients, veterans and railroad retirees
Whoop De Doo...why RRR I'll never know, they don't pay into SS

The difference between then and now is culpability

Democrats had no problem increasing tax payer debt
to prevent industries and executive hierarchy from incurring losses or hardship
they caused and government legislated...the Clinton social experiment

Congress approves hundreds of billions of American tax dollars
to build homes and fix roads and upgrade hospitals
in foreign countries for their citizens

while our own citizens, many veteran's, are homeless
while our roads and buildings have been neglected and are dilapidated
while many hospitals in rural areas have been forced to close since Obamacare

and then to find out, our country, The United States of America
the country taking care of everyone else's needs, everywhere else
doesn't even have enough critical medical equipment to adequately provide
emergency care for the masses in an event such as we are faced with now

The Titanic of 2020

Nancy is abusing her power and position to delay legislation
by including provisions and appropriations in a relief bill
that has absolutely nothing to do with anything

Nancy needs to be removed from office and we, the people,
need to collectively, force her removal...and move on to the next

This is unacceptable and inexcusable on so many fucking levels

How much did Bloomberg spend on his phony campaign?

I'm not a lib but I would tell Fredo and Obama to own up. Obama depleted the supply of masks during N1H1 and never replaced them, ever. Besides libs saying Trump went golfing during Covid, flashback. Obama went golfing during N1H1

Cuomo opted for solar panels instead of respirators.
How"s that working out for you New Yawkers?
Tho' Schumer did recently say Brooklynites are tuff
