GOP ‘Savior’ Marco Rubio Falls Back On The Same Old Anti-Woman Policies

Ever wonder why the liberals get so rabid when someone stands up against what they hold so dear? Its as if they don't want anyone to hear what the opposition has to say. What is it that they fear, that common sense triumphs over hollow political rhetoric?

We'll see how right-wing "common sense triumphs" in the 2014 elections...

So, in order to be a Republican party that you, a Liberal Democrat likes, you want us to be more like you, even though we disagree with you on many different policies?

Tell you what, why don't you become more like us instead?

Why do you assume that everyone who doesn't hold extremist right wing views must be a Liberal or Socialist or Communist or Marxist or whatever far left designation is in favor these days?

Some of us are moderates, either in the center or slightly leaning left or right. Some of us have individual views on a variety of subjects. Some of us think for ourselves. Why should we have to change our position to accommodate those of you on the fringes?

Common sense is highly overrated.

Possibly a centralized political party ruled by a self anointed political elite is more in line with their desire, one where all decisions are made by the central party apparatus. Sound vaguely familiar? They wish to be the determining force behind who will represent the opposition, select winner and loser.

I love how liberals think they speak for everyone women, blacks, Hispanics it's amazing how they can tell us how these groups feel about any and everything. To hear them tell it all blacks, women, and Hispanics are liberal. Can you get much more condescending, sexist, and racist?

Why are you so paranoid about others beliefs?

Common sense is highly overrated.

One would have to agree considering the current state of fiscal affairs. But then again, living in fantasy land is very becoming, however, lacks nutritional value.

Blacks, women and Hispanics are voting Democratic in higher numbers than they are voting Republican. I think that says something about who's speaking and who's listening.

It's not Liberals or Democrats telling women they don't have a right to make decisions for themselves and their bodies. It's not Liberals and Democrats lumping all blacks into a "lazy" pool and subjecting Latinos to discriminatory searches.

So yeah, I guess Liberals and Democrats can speak for these groups. At least with more authority than Conservatives and Republicans can at this point.

What gave you the idea I was paranoid? Disgusted and disheartened maybe, but there's little you can say or think that I haven't heard before. None of it is terribly frightening. Mostly, it's just disruptive noise.

I don't consider myself as being on the fringe. I believe in the Constitution and what it says in plain English, not what some over-educated pencil necked geek thinks it should read as.

IMHO, you are the fringe leaders, finding things to be "Constitutional" that are not in the Constitution or even worse, are specifically forbidden by the Constitution.

It looks as if Rubio is on the correct side of those issues.

I don't understand what all the wailing and gnashing of teeth is about.

I can't speak for anyone else, but my wailing and gnashing (which is actually, oh shit, no they didn't!) is due to my great desire to see a strong Republican party again. Why? Because its good for democracy.

Tone down the loud obsession over your guns, your religion and your intolerance. It's driving the Republican Party to seek it's base in alligator swamps, outhouses. and fear infested bunkers.

They need to rise above the minority extremists dragging them down.

Amen! I used to vote Republican are much or more than Democrat - BUT NO MORE. The GOP has been hijacked by extremist NUTS. Jon Huntsman was the only sane candidate in the last GOP Primary election - and he was totally ignored.

I definitely could have and probably would have voted for Huntsman. A shame. One more missed opportunity the RNC never even considered as he didn't appeal to the backwoods crowd.

All that say's is the Republicans have run tow bad candidates in the last two Presidential elections the Democrats are not having the same success on the state level. Bush won women and Hispanics in 2000 and 2004 if he runs Rubio can win them in 2016 which is why the left is already attacking him in full force as blacks go the vast majority will always vote Democrat no matter what the Republican candidate says that is pretty much a given I don't think the Republicans should waste the time and money trying to win that vote.

Small-minded, short term thinking there. As if the problems we face today weren't a long time in the making. As if both parties aren't to blame and by extension, we ourselves. Then again, maybe that's what you're talking about.

The Constitution means whatever SCOTUS says it means. Even the 2nd Amendment no longer means what it originally said it meant - and Scalia has confirmed that. The will of the people will continue to drive the legal interpretations of the Constitution.
