In His infinite wisdom, God gave man his Commandments as to how to live a blessed and prosperous life. These were not ten suggestions, these were commandments. Upon these Commandments are the basis upon which we are to base our relationships with God and with one another.

The first four Commandments are based upon our relationship guidelines with God. These four Commandments must be adhered to else the remain six Commandments will not be effectual. Our relationship with one another will fall flat without first our having a relationship with God.

We have removed the Ten Commandments from our schools and public places. The Ten Commandments are the very basis upon which we have morals and the very minimum guidelines to live by. By removing the Ten Commandments from our schools and from our daily life, our children have nothing upon which to use as a moral yardstick. Spiritual and moral instruction do not begin in the Church. They begin at home with the father and the mother. Many homes today are lacking one or the other of the parents and the Spiritual and Moral instruction of the children are lacking. This is the reason God established the family unit. In many homes, the children are leading the parent or parents. This is not the way God designed it to be.

There is currently a lot of talk about making America great again. America will never be great again as long as we turn our back upon the very moral code God gave to Moses. We may see financial gain and even military gain but we will continue to see our children being murdered, murder someone themselves, cheat steal, and rob and be incarcerated within our penal system as we continue our downward spiral into a lawless and barbaric nation of chaos and destruction.

Liberals are advocating a person himself to decide what's good and what's bad, to substitute God's law with a personal decision of a week human nature. A "good" example is: they keep stirring their gay propaganda and have allowed gay marriages, which absolutely contradict God's Law.

Meanwhile Jesus Christ said: "I'm your only life, truth and way" and it remains the only truth during last 2000 years.

God did not short you two with the grace of ignorance..There is no shortage of moral teachings....And now we have a trinity to screw up parts of the Ten Commandments..

Your God sounds like a nutcase.

I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me.

No, God did not give us commandments to follow. He gave those Laws to a specific people for a specific time. They have NOTHING, again NOTHING to do with the Gentile. From the second Adam breathed his first breath, til the time the Jews stopped at Mt. Sinai, the Law didn't exist. We lived under a constant state of forgiveness from a loving Father. The Jews turned their Father into their Judge when they told him they could handle any rules He could come up with. And even with that, after God took up their challenge, God gave them a way to cover their sin temporarily until their Messiah appeared to rid them of sin permanently. They missed the hour of His visitation. And He STILL hasn't forsaken them. They will win WW3.

Those Laws were fulfilled for the Jews by Christ. For the Gentiles, He gave one rule for us to live by. Love your Father, and each other. That leads to Life. The Laws lead to death. If you place yourself under one and you are obligated to keep all 600+.
Leave the Law to whom it was intended. If we love our Father and each other, you have fulfilled those commandments. Christians are not under the Law:

He couldn't be more clear on the subject:

The law reveals sin but cannot fix it. (Romans 3:20)

If the law worked then faith would be irrelevant. (Romans 4:14)

The law brings wrath upon those who follow it. (Romans 4:15)

The purpose of the law was to increase sin. (Romans 5:20)

Christians are not under the law. (Romans 6:14)

Christians have been delivered from the law. (Romans 7:1-6)

The law is good, perfect and holy but cannot help you be good, perfect or holy. (Romans 7:7-12)

The law which promises life only brings death through sin. (Romans 7:10)

The law makes you sinful beyond measure. (Romans 7:13)

The law is weak. (Romans 8:2-3)

The law is a ministry of death. (2 Corinthians 3:7)

The law is a ministry of condemnation. (2 Corinthians 3:9)

The law has no glory at all in comparison with the New Covenant. (2 Corinthians 3:10)

The law is fading away. (2 Corinthians 3:11)

Anywhere the law is preached it produces a mind-hardening and a heart-hardening veil. (2 Corinthians 3:14-15)

The law curses all who practice it and fail to do it perfectly. (Galatians 3:10)

The law was a curse that Christ redeemed us from. (Galatians 3:13)

We are under a perpetual state of Grace brought to us by Jesus Christ. If the Law could save us, The cross would have not been necessary.
We are under a new covenant. If we love one another we don't need commandments. the Law vs Grace< favor we don't deserve. Pick one or the other.

1)Morality is beyond just the Moses laws, there are laws of reality and science that prove cause and affect and connectivity whereby our acts are paid back with reactions. Sometimes our acts have opposite affects then we intend thus are pointless, but without these further expressions and teachings the laws are not fully Shalem (complete & stable).
2)Dajjal,
suppose you go to a restaurant and complain nastily about your undercooked hamburger and soggy roll and upon returning it realize you are at the mercy of the morality of the waitress and the cook staff. Which one of these would you more trust not to do something to your food:
a)an atheist who loves to folly
b)a zealot christian who's religion breaks all 10 commands and gets mad when you point that out (zealous pride)
c)A Muslim who gets harassed for his cultural garb and gets comments on a daily bases, so he's tired of the predjudices thus feels being picked on .
d)a Jewish staff wearing keepahs who follow strict food codes.
e)a Jewish humanist staff of moderates
f)a Hindu staff
g) an Asian staff
h) a mixed staff with all tattoos and colorful hair.

We have the secular Democratic Party to thank for the breakdown of morality in this country. They are Godless people and it is reflected in their policies. Always has been.

Nonsense.

America is currently great, we have always been a great Nation; and we can only lose our greatness should we foolishly turn our back on the Constitution, its case law, the rule of law, and the Framers' mandate that church and state remain separate.

Indeed, we have wisely and appropriately removed the religion that is the ten commandments from schools and other public sector venues in compliance with the First Amendment, consistent with the original intent and understanding of the Founding Generation that the American Republic be a secular Nation, and that religious dogma not be codified in secular law.

The Establishment Clause is clear that a “statute must have a secular legislative purpose…its principal or primary effect must be one that neither advances nor inhibits religion…[and] the statute must not foster an excessive government entanglement with religion.” Lemon v Kurtzman

Consequently, the thread premise fails as a slippery slope fallacy, predicated on the wrongheaded notion that religion is a ‘panacea’ for all problems our Nation faces, and that without religion we will “continue our downward spiral,” when in fact nothing could be further from the truth.

Yes, that is why we even have kindergarten kids performing oral sex on one another at school. It has caused a total breakdown of basic morals.

There is no ‘god’ as perceived by theists, consequently nothing was ‘given’ – neither commandments nor laws.

Religion and ‘god’ are creations of man, imbued with man’s ignorance, fear, and hate – where Establishment Clause jurisprudence safeguards citizens’ religious liberties, including being free from faith, and protects Americans from the ignorance, fear, and hate that far too often manifest as a consequence of religious arrogance and excess.

Actually based upon the posts you have made on USMB over some time now, I would conclude that it is you who are angry and most unhappy of all. Actually you come off as being quite miserable.

Christ has abolished the law which was a wall of hostility (Ephesians 2:15)

God has found fault with it and created a better covenant, enacted on better promises. (Hebrews 8:7-8)

If the law worked God would have used it to save us. (Galatians 3:21)

Then what you are advocating is the Christ needs our help when it comes to our redemption.
Our works have nothing to do with it.
If we needed to be taught, why did God withhold the teachings from Adam or his friend Abraham? Where were their commandment tablets?
A gentile who does not accept Christ as their savior is not a Jew and will not be judged as a Jew, but as a sinning Gentile.
The very definition of Gentile is NOT Jewish. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that God judges Gentiles with Jewish Law.

Not so much. Americans are protected from government interference concerning our beliefs and faith. In no way shape or form does it remove faith and belief from our government. That is Moses standing with those tablets over the door of the Supreme Court. And here is Congress:

Leave the Law to whom it was intended. If we love our Father and each other, you have fulfilled those 10 commandments. Christians are not under the Law:
Pick one:

That's good but you fall short in your own understanding. Yes, we are to love God and to love one another. This is the summation of the Law. The first four- Love God. The last six - love one another. The Law cannot save anyone. It is the teacher however. Christ said himself that He did not change one tittle of the Law. Christians are saved by Grace. The sins of non-believers are not covered by Grace. They are under the Law.

Abraham was a Gentile. Now tell us by what God judges the Gentile? What rules apply for Gentiles that are different from Jews? Are Gentiles permitted to kill? To covet? To steal? Tell us please.

Wonderful words to live by, whether 7 or 9 or 10 of them. So is the 35th law. Yet Gentiles don't even know what that one is..
They are good laws, but not our laws. Laws deal with the Judiciary. Guilt or innocence. A Judge. Christians are not judged concerning guilt or innocence. The Bema Judgement that Christians will be attending is for rewards. God does not remember your sins once the blood of Christ washes them away.

You don't need Jewish Law to raise Godly children. They are under a New Covenant. So teach them what Jesus said. Not what Moses said. If a child is taught to love their Father, and each other, they will keep those ten laws anyway, without even knowing them.

Those tablets were placed in a compartment under the Mercy Seat of God in the Temple. You actually had to remove mercy to get to them. Leave them there. We need to bring Christ back to our homes and our schools. Not Moses.

The law has no glory at all in comparison with the New Covenant. (2 Corinthians 3:10)
The law is good, perfect and holy but cannot help you be good, perfect or holy. (Romans 7:7-12)

It is works vs Grace. You can't work at being good enough to get into heaven.

The punishment for sin is death. Gentiles who have died choosing not to rid themselves of sin through Christ the Lord, those who chose not to accept the gift Christ died to offer us, will be on the docket at the White Throne Judgement. Those in Christ skip the judgement. Their sin was removed by Christ.

We are not under Jewish law. We are under a new Covenant:

Hebrews 8:6 - But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

Romans 7:6 - But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not [in] the oldness of the letter.

2 Corinthians 3:6 - Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

^There is the difference you were seeking.
As for the rest of your inquiry, if we do what Christ said and love one another, do you steal from those you love, or kill them so you can park their new car in your garage?
If Christ did it, do it. If Christ didn't do it, don't do it. If you do it anyway ask for forgiveness for grieving your Father. He will forgive the offense. He loves us.

Not what I either said or advocated. Paul said he would not have know sin except the Law defined it for him. Even our own rule of law is based on the Commandments. You go out and kill someone or steal something, you have broken our own laws. Christ did not do away with the Law. Christ gave us through His death, burial, and resurrection a way to salvation through Faith in Him.

How could you raise Godly children unless you knew what was Godly? What would tell you what was Godly? You seem to apply the new Commandment Christ gave to love God and to love one another as the key. All I am saying is that the first four Commandments tell us how to Love God and the remaining six tell us how to love one another. I don't love you if I kill you. I don't love you if I steal from you. It's the same thing. Christ's new Commandment was merely a summation and condensation of the Ten Commandments. How can you truly love God if you place other Gods before Him? How can you love God if you don't keep His Sabbath day? How can you honor your father and your mother if you murder someone or steal from someone?
