Glacial retreat photos

Environuts are just getting too annoying. I don't blame the right (both the extremist ones and the normal ones) for hating you all.

You are the one who is a nut.

Photos don't lie. Only people lie.

Most of the old photos look like they where taken in Winter and the new ones in the Summer...

Note the small patches of snow on things other than the glaciers. Also the amount of Summer plants in the new photos.

Unless they provide the actual dates of the photos, they prove nothing.

Oh and let's not forget that the glaciers on Mt St Helen's grew even while their was lava pushing out all around them. There's also a NEW glacier on Mt St Helen's.

The U.S. Geological Survey's Repeat Photography Project shows quite clearly the effects of global warming on glaciers in America.

What is most shocking is how much more color the world has today. It's obvious from the photos that before Global Warming the world was black and white and bland. Global Warming certainly has added color and excitement to our world.

Hmmmm...... Very scientific rebuttal. May we expect more such from you?

probably. you've already carved out the pompous know-it-all niche for yourself.
could you post some more graphs for us? pleeeeeease? and then another pronouncement of dire consequences if we don't all do what al gore commands?

that'd be nifty.

That's rich coming from you. There is nothing scientific about these photos. I'm merely drawing a conclusion based on what is seen in the photos. Now off you go to play with the kiddies. Let the degreed scientists handle this one.

It takes years for glacers to form.

Glaciers don't melt in the summer and reform in the winter!

Chris... Do you have the same type of scientific degrees that Old Rocks has?

Of course there's a new glacier on Mt. St. Helens.

The old one was blown away in 1980, and it has taken 29 years for a new one to form.

You guys are killing me!:lol::lol::lol:

So you're a Realtor. Wow. The Scientific brain power coming from the Left is astounding!

With all the other glaciers melting away, I'm surprised there has been new formation of any glaciers.

When the facts are on your side, argue the facts.

When the law is on your side, argue the law.

When you have neither, bang on the table!
