Clearly, some forum members live in places like Scratchmyassville ISA and Irrelevantown USA so they are not at all familiar with this stuff because they simply don't see it living in the middle of places nobody cares about.........
But I see it.........on any clear day particularly when there is only a light wind. The skies over New York that look like an Etch-A-Sketch at least 2 or 3 days/week. As a kid......vapor trails were a rather unique event that make us look into the sky and point!! Now? Its sky art..........laughable. What I do is just point into the sky amongst friends and simply say, "They're doing it again!!".
