Normally I'd be asking what the over/under is on how long Kelly will stay or be kept, but I wonder if the fact that he's a tough general alters the calculus - from either his perspective on leaving or Trump's perspective on firing him.

This really isn't a situation in which Kelly should be finding himself. Just like Paul Ryan's decision to become Speaker and trying to "lead" a party split in two: What the hell was he thinking?

You used to be such a fan, bashing anyone who supported a better candidate in the primary. My respect for everybody's president has grown as my disrespect for most Republicans also grows.

Sounds like a good move though. We put him office to accomplish certain promises he made. They need to refocus.
