1060 brand new modern units have been completed and now open. 1200 more will be open very soon, thanks to Qatar.

Qatar does this while US politicians sit around with their thumb up their ass.

Our government is such an embarrassment.

P F Tinmore, et al,

Well, I won't argue that most of Washington is hopelessly ineffective. And rarely do you find a 21st Century Thinker in the halls of Congress.

(COMMENT)

It is not our Government that should, embarrassed. Who said that building infrastructure for an Arab Community (any Arab Community) is a responsibility of the United States.

The Arab Palestinians should be happy for anything they get from the US. After all, the Arab Palestinians are a people that openly support terrorism (as defined by US Law) and therefore, should not get anything from the US, except arrested.

Top Hamas official Ismail Haniyeh declared earlier this week that the movementā€™s military wing will ā€œstun the whole world with its power of resistance.ā€
ā€œWeā€™re building our strength above and below the ground, beyond the enemy lines, in the air, sea, and land, and not just to defend Gaza because, despite the siege, the Strip is liberated,ā€ Haniyeh said during a ceremony marking 20 years since the elimination of the movementā€™s explosives expert, ā€œthe engineerā€ Yahye Ayash, by Israel.

ā€œWeā€™re doing it for the sake of the whole of Palestine. Al Qassam Brigades, who stunned the entire world in the last war, will do it again whenever they face the enemy.ā€

This demonstrates a couple of points that need recognition:
  • This is the threat of violence and an attempt to provoke a confrontation.
  • It also demonstrates that it diverted donor funding to re-equip and rearm; rather than rebuild.
  • It demonstrates that they are not at odds with Israel over "occupation" --- but the want the entire "whole of Palestine."
The US has to really evaluate the situation and potential for backlash when it considers giving any aid and support to a people or community that unlawfully use or threaten to use of force or violence against the State of Israel in an attempt to coerce or intimidate the sovereignty, its citizens or societal groups of Israel to achieve political, religious or ideological objectives.

The latent backdrop of HAMAS Policy seems to argues that since Israel is unlikely to agree to all the terms of a ā€œpermanent statusā€ (A Conclusion to Hostilities):

ā€¢ Jerusalem
ā€¢ Right of Return (RoR) and Compensation to Refugees
ā€¢ Israeli Settlements in the West Bank and Resource Management
ā€¢ Security, Internal Defense and Development, Defendable Borders
ā€¢ Diplomatic, economic and commercial relationships and cooperation
ā€¢ Other issues of common interest

HAMAS would most likely reject Israelā€™s demand that the Palestinian State recognize Israel. (Khartoum Resolution 'vs' Oslo Accord) The Palestinian Strategy is to place such preconditions on talks that give Israel no alternatives to negotiate. And HAMAS believes that by stacking the pre-conditions to negotiations, that can make it appear that it is Israel that is the obstacle to Peace; thereby lending more political capital to the Arab Palestinians (sympathy to the virtual victim of what appears to be the unreasonableness of the Israelis).

Since the overall objective in the Arab Palestinian agenda is to set the condition such that the Arab Palestinians gain (for the first time ever) sovereign control of the entire territory west of the Jordan River. Since HAMAS believes that Israel will never agree to these conditions as a bundle, they will set the stage for a gradual over the term of a indefinite hudna (a type of Armistice).

The impact to the setting of conditions is exemplified by the RoR demand. If the Arab Palestinian can achieve this one compromise and flood Israel with Arab Palestinians, the eventual outcome is that the Arab Palestinians will be able to take control of the government and thereby demolish the safety, protection and preservation of the Jewish State. The will have finally achieved the outcome of defying the intentions of the Allied Powers over a Century Ago. Once the International Community attempts to force the State of Israel accept the RoR for 2,117,361 in Jordan, 452,669 in Lebanon, 528,616 in Syria, 774,167 in West Bank, 1,276,929 Gaza, for a total of 5,149,742 Registered Refugees (as of January 2015). There are only ā‰ˆ 8.5 Million Israeli citizens. Not only would this bankrupt Israel (the forced collapse of the 18th Rank Nation for Human Development and the most highly developed nation in the immediate region), it sets the conditions for the destruction of the state.

It will be interesting to see how, once the International Community has set the conditions for the take-over of Israel by another Radicalized Islamic Terrorist Movement, how they will justify the destabilization of the region and the ultimate denationalization of 8 million Israelis.

Most Respectfully,
R

Yeah, yeah, we have heard all of that BS before.

They were the fuckers who gave Israel all of those bombs when those moochers went to them with their hand out.
