Drilling for and finding/producing more oil in the U.S. will not in and of itself bring down gasoline prices. What it wll do is create jobs, generate revenue within our own country, contribute to the GDP, stimulate economic activity, reduce imports of foreign oil, and fatten the treasuries of local, state, and federal government.

I remember 25 cent/gallon gasoline. I also remember 10 cent loaf bread and 50 gallons of milk.
Why aren't we asking that of agriculture these days?
