Booker T Washington would have been a good role model for blacks to follow. However, he is far less known than his radical socialist/communist rival and Stalin Supporter W.E.B. DuBois. Whilst Booker T. Washington tried to assimilate blacks into segregationist society via education, demonstrating a strong work ethic, and catching up to their white peers via merit, W.E.B. DuBois believed in propaganda and radicalism. DuBois is far more popular today. Most blacks, to include college educated blacks, couldn't tell you who Booker T. Washington was. More of them, however, would be able to articulate who W.E.B. DuBois was. Of course, they've sanitized the hell out of the Stalinist bastard.

Happens all the time. Hell, NPR was doing it just yesterday over my radio. The left is an expert at painting all conservatives racist. The right is horrible at using propaganda and push polling as the left does. Nevertheless, those tweets certainly represent modern mainstream thought in the academic community. Which of course, is why people become so indoctrinated to tweet such garbage in the first place. If only they could use such critical thinking skills toward something that would actually contribute something to society instead of insisting that it be divided up by skin color.
