A lot of people going to the Gulags in Socialist paradise California.

Every person who, with intent to annoy, telephones or makes contact by means of an electronic communication device with another and addresses to or about the other person any obscene language or addresses to the other person any threat to inflict injury to the person or property of the person addressed or any member of his or her family, is guilty of a misdemeanor.

I would venture to guess that just about every state has a similar law

. Oh boy look out for the extradition orders.. lol.. It goes like this eh - Someone hurted my wittle feelings even though I attacked them first on multiple issues or occasions.. Sickem Cali, Sickem. So it's Sickem Cali now, instead of the old Sickem federal government eh ?

I have seen Grandpa Murked around. Wasn't he supposed to be taken to jail by the Hillsborough Sheriffs Dept?

At least that is what Protectionista said was going to happen.

I would imagine that using USMB as a third party would negate the prosecution.
A man is being prosecuted for his Facebook posts because he thinks Muslims are linked to terrorism.
. Trump will pardon him. Americans die, and Americans talk about it, and while in their non-lawyer primitive form, they do forget to clarify until someone calls them out, that it is not all Muslims who are related to or affiliated with terrorism or terrorist. Most everyone knows this, so the minority opinion remains the minority opinion in which is good....It has happened to the smartest all the way to the more ignorant among us, but it all gets worked out somehow to suit everyone in the chaotic calamity caused by Americans being killed on our own soil.

The mere existence of snowflakes annoys me. Shouldn't they all be in jail?

Holy crap, that's probably a majority of the posts here.

How about a stern warning instead?
Democrats hero Stalin rounded up hundreds of millions, the California Dems are just emulating their hero.
. How can the issues be debated without agreement to disagree, and yes people have gotten heated here with one another, and the sling fest begins, but most of the time it fades away into obscurity, and the next topic gets started for debate. I agree that people should refrain from personal attacks on each other, and especially refrain from verbal assaulting each other with the proposed intent to do bodily harm even if just words. Most people are just internet basement warriors that no one pays any attention to, but I guess sometimes they rattle people good with their attack.

I'm good, socked in from the dark side of the moon, using a Chinese navsatlu-y lunar orbiter to com. Cold as fuck up here.

Fuck dude, you are the biggest snowflake on this board. Nobody whines more than you.

Isn't that contradictory of the 1st amendment? Seems like even a bad lawyer could stand up against such laws.

This argument has gone on since forever, offensive art, speech or anything else is still free speech. Annoyance can't even be taken seriously as a legal factor.

Yes, now if people knowing the consequences of debate, and knowingly, and willingly climb into the fire in which they see is burning hot (of their own free will), then why does a person act like they were oblivious when they begin to lose the debate, and they start yelling abuse, abuse, abuse ??? Is it because they can't convince the amount of people that they want to here, that they were right when the majority disagrees with them ??

No one here is of the illusion that only civil debate takes place on the many issues here, and If they act like they do then it's an act. Now if the debate goes south, and hot heads begin to prevail, then the site has means to deal with that. If the options aren't used, then the one's hurt might try to use threats to get even or shut down debate by those threats. Personal attacks shouldn't be tolerated, but they have to be reported if the poster feels truly threatened. I haven't seen any real dangers here, but maybe I'm just oblivious.
