FW Woolworth and the Red Hen Lex

Stephanie WIlkenson and Frank Woolworth have a lot in common.

Mr. Woolworth didn't like MLK's stands on the issues like Civil Rights.

Ms. Wilkenson had a real problem with President Trump's stands on issues like a Return to American Greatness.

They both kicked out and refused to serve people who they disagreed with politically in southern beaneries.

Woolworth never chased customers down the street. The incredible thing about the Red Hen is that the local paper "The Lexington News Gazette" supported the affront to the rights of citizens in the 21st century for political reasons even though it hurt tourism and possibly enrolment in W&L and VMI. The Hen owner did drop out as president of the local Va. "Main Street" economic development program.
