Fueling electric vehicles cost $17 a gallon

The best way to charge your EV is to use a Diesel generator.

The best way is to live in an area that used zero gas fuels to make their electricity. I live in one of those. All the Electricity is created using Hydroelectric, solar and wind.

democrats use "chick math".... they're not really very technical except they're sure that their stuttering shit clown has created 40 zillion new jobs and the age of consent should be 3....
I thought they were using black math.

Is there a lifetime warranty on a gas powered car?
So, you are admitting that the warranty thing was wrong. With gas powered cars, once the warranty is no longer good, you don't have to pay over 10K for a new battery. And, it's extremely stupid to buy a used EV where the warranty is no longer good. The owner of a new EV may decide to chuck it for one reason or another after one year, leaving the person who bought his used EV up the creek when the battery konks out.

We got tired in the 60s with the black snow from every factory so we built a major Hydro Plant and have been adding solar and wind since then. The Hydroplant was left over from the Eisenhower days. You Magats sure have gotten really stupid.

So you can’t blow an engine after the warranty period?

What’s that cost?

In one car you have an engine and a battery. In the other car you have an engine and a battery. If you need to replace both in one car it costs 20K. If you need to replace both in the other car it costs about $10,200. If you decide to chuck it and just get another car you can find one for 5K if you have to. If you decide to buy another used EV then you aren't going to get one for 5K.

None of that is true

You can buy a low mileage EV for about 15,000 with less than 31,000 miles. Meaning, the battery will last another 85,000 miles before it absolutely requires replacement. For the same amount, you can buy a Toyota Camry SE with more than twice the mileage. The more EVs that are produced the less they will cost new and used as well.

The other side of the coin, the power to recharge. 50 years ago, this area decided to start the change to renewables out of necessity. We were completely coal dependent and having the ability to mine more than needed. The factories used coal, the homes used coal. And we also put in the infrastructure to keep us going for the next 50 years. We are now in need of replacing our current infrastructure. But we are still better off than most of Texas, California, NY, Ill, Oh and most other states. Not saying that overall, the entire state I live in isn't in trouble in the most populated areas, but the writing on the wall has been noted.

You know, it doesn't mean a damned thing whether your area has an extreme increase in EVs or not. You are still using a 100 year old infrastructure and are already in trouble with the increase of electric power needed for normal growth.

You have your chance to get a good infrastructure along with more renewable resources. You have zero idea what is wasted on Earth that can be tapped for power. And once it's tapped, it's almost free.

Prove it. Links douchebag
You don't need links to what I said. EV's are too expensive and too risky, especially considering the battery. The battery costs at least 10K after the warranty runs out and once the car is no longer under warranty, even if it is only one year old due to a sale, you're screwed if the battery fails. People are fools to buy a used EV. Yes, both EV's and gas powered cars have engines but only one has a battery costing over 10K. And, people can buy a gas powered used car that runs for 5K, even if it's not in great shape. The only way you can buy a used EV for 5K is if it needs a new battery!
