After a quick perusal of the constitution... I was unable to find any reference to education standards... Could you provide a link showing the govenments responsibility to a person's individual higher education? Don't worry... I'll wait.But we, the tax payer can? What happens when we can't anymore? Then what happens?
We didn't sign up for that loan.Why forgiveness from the govt when the institutions should have to pay it back?Actually, Trump and DeVos have worked to overturn rules that would allow student loan forgiveness for students who were screwed over by these types of institutions.
They can't pay it back when they are out of business like ITT Tech.
Nope, it is the governments responsibility to make sure these colleges to adhere to government standards. When these colleges do not, and they use government loans in order to take money from students, the students are just pawns in the scam, and thus shouldn't be held responsible for those loans.
