Now I am confused. They first said they had started, now they are talking about it as if it is about to start - which duh - we already knew.

Perhaps I jumped the perverbial gun.

I have a small amount of pity for the insurgents holed up in Fallujah, they are about to see the side of America they deserve.

Hopefully this time politics will not get in the way. Time to leave it to the military commanders on the ground over there, they know what needs to be done !!

Hopefully Bush will work quickly to obtain some vital objectives in Iraq and America because he won't have much a "honeymoon" period to accomplish what needs to be done. Maybe he will choose to spend his last two years trying to unite the country. The Dems are still free to begin the unification should they really desire. ( Whatever happened to "it takes 2 to Tango" ) I expect them to dust themselves off rather quickly and begin the attacks sooner than expected. They are merely begging for some compromises to buy some time for a renewed attack.
