Active duty either for that matter. The Democrats have worked hard to not count the votes of the military serving overseas in each election. The Democrats are the first ones to gut the military and they all know it.

I was at Sansapor New Guinea when there was some talk about letting the GI's overseas vote in the 1944 election. It was one of the few times we talked politics in my infantry company. That we would all vote for FDR was a given but as we talked further we wondered about Republicans. For most of us it would be our first vote and someone said there was a Republican in K company, So we walked over to K company and watched, and saw no Republicans just GI's like ourselves. I think the vote was canceled because it was too cumbersome to vote for our local and state politicians. In any case FDR won, his fourth term.
