When you discuss the actual science, the opposition tires quickly.. But attack their CONSENSUS, phoney polling, and their submission to AUTHORITY and they cut and run..

It's a movement built on fine-crafted public relations and press releases that don't resemble the actual research that's being announced.. Loosen the grip on "endorsements" and it will collapse back into a REAL scientific discussion..

Past history indicates quite clearly that the odds of such an outcome are slim. You all haven't done well in discerning, much less predicting, where hard science will go.

No way.. The vast majority of those physicists were never asked for an input prior to thos horseshit policy position papers issed by APS. In fact SEVERAL award winnning board members RESIGNED in protest of those statements.. Never was a consensus derived at that place.....
