FINALLY some common sense concerning the NFL protests

Uh oh: the NFL is in for it now!!!

"We are disappointed and increasingly concerned by the recent incidents that have overshadowed this NFL season. We are not yet satisfied with the league's handling of behaviors that so clearly go against our own company culture and moral code," Anheuser-Busch said in a statement to USA TODAY Sports.

"We have shared our concerns and expectations with the league."

The BEER GODS HAVE SPOKEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Greg

The going on bended knee is not about protesting the anthem or nationalism or patriotism, it's about bringing awareness to racial injustice that is still occurring in our nation...

this is what the kneeling has always been about...and that is what the protesters themselves have said it is about...

Our President, has changed the subject and made it about the anthem to distract from these kneeler's cause.
And your solution to their "cause?"

NOPE, it is obvious, most are kneeing in response to Trump not to some made up "cause." Sad to see them doing the work of rich football team owners.

Yes, this past weekend and Monday night's game

WAS TO ADMONISH Trump for butting in where he didn't belong....

Duh!

The kneeling by the, individual players like Colin Kapernik, was to bring peaceful attention to what they feel and think, is Racial Injustice

The NFL coaches like Jerry Jones and the Patriots owner DONATED a Million bucks each, to Trump campaign/inauguration.....they were Trump supporters silly.

They supported Trump when he attacked McCain, no problem. They supported Trump when he said some bad things about women. They supported Trump no matter what he did, until he attacked the shield, then they saw THEIR interests under attack and the rest of the NFL did as did those in the south did in 1861, they joined in to fight the rich man's war. Really history repeating itself is so interesting to watch.

As if there were any more reasons to not like the Ravens but their behavior in London shows what they are really all about, disrespect for the country that made them rich. Kneeling for the Anthem but standing for the British national anthem, how more in your face can it be? Which is laughable considering Britain's role in the slave trade.

Britain and the US both engaged in that trade, as did France, Portugal, Spain, Holland and Denmark.

And yet --- all of them abolished slavery before we did.

Britain for its part was intercepting American slavers after it had banned the practice.

No, that's Anheuser-Busch. They make footwash and put it in bottles. :gay:

He brings up a good point. Remember just recently the whining about confederate statues being about "celebrating traitors" and all that other Liberal rot and drama wanting them gone out of respect.

Whelp apparently it's fine and dandy to disrespect your country and the men who fought for it overseas and then stand up and pay allegiance to the U.K...a country we fought a war to be free from. Like the traitors we all know the left are.

Please...

Take a seat you fake ass douchebags.

Hey you --- you got "whelp" from me  Imitation, sincerest form of flattery....

Whelp ---- it's also ironic is it not that we send two football teams to Britain and then make them sit through a song all about fighting a war against Britain?

Why is our national anthem about war anyway? Against anybody?
Is that how we define ourselves? War?
Who else's national anthem is about war?

I've noticed guys like you want to talk about anything but the reason for the protests.
What is the reason? All people like you want to do is talk about the protest as if it is in a vacuum. The whole protest is just hypocritical BS.

The laughable part is that the NFL players are taking the side of rich white guys, sounds like the relationship with the democrats before the civil war.

That doesn't make a lot of sense. As I told another poster who ran away, Democrats got shut out in the South in the 1860 election. The South had already split from them. The defeated Democrat candidate worked with Lincoln to try to prevent secession, and when that failed advised Lincoln on how to wage the war.

You don't know this?

Got nothing to do with the topic anyway.

That's exactly right. He saw (heard) an opportunity to generate some mouth foam, to in his term, "sell feelings", and he milked it for the wank-factor of Numero Uno. Which has always been his M.O., about everything, and which we have been warning the gullible Pavlovian population about for over two years. And every day (as well as every night at four in the morning on Twitter) he continues to prove us right about that.

Then they need to start protesting in their own neighborhoods, don't you think?

Are their own neighborhoods forcing them to play marionette for a piece of music that has zero to do with what they're doing at the time?

OK then.

Aside from that ---- if you're a pro football player .... the football field IS your own neighborhood. It's what you're identified with.

Lol, 'Trumps fault!' again, roflmao

There is no justification for spitting on the American flag and the people it represents.

And there hasn't been any "spitting", so it's instructive that you think there's justification to just make shit up.

Why did you bring it up then? Are you denying that the "protest" went from social injustice to defending the NFL and the rich men that own it? Anyone should be able to see at least that far.

Now what we do about it is the question.

So now the President of the US has to STFU on issues you feel he has no right. I thought the solution was to listen, I guess you agree, listen and do what we tell you to do.

I didn't bring it up. You did. I've posted nothing here about the Civil War, "social injustice" or "the rich".

You brought up an allusion to the Civil War that made no sense, so I pointed out the flaw. That got done.

That's hilarious, since "listen and do what we tell you to do" exactly describes this fascist movement to control behavior in football players.

Why are all these dumb motherfuckers posting videos of their low-info rants from inside their cars?
All you're worried about is why they're in their cars? You should be impressed that there are 3 black men in America who can think for themselves.

Then why are they ALL making videos in cars? Is this a "thing" now?

Ya think maybe it's because a black man in a car is well advised to be ready to document what goes down when he's pulled over for DWB?
