The fact that she was a commissioned officer in the United States Army and had been promoted to Lt. Colonel in the reserves tells me, no, she's probably not a spy.

Then again, that is the key to a spy's success. Hiding in plain sight, unsuspected. General Benedict Arnold ring a bell? Or, for more recent examples how about Chief Warrant Officer John Walker Jr. There was also his associate Jerry Whitworth, who was retired from the Navy and out of the game by the time he was ever caught. As the report states, lower ranking individuals have been charged with crimes for lesser actions. Again, I would have expected Petraeus to be setting the highest example. And he should have to face the highest music.
