90-95% immunity is required for herd immunity to work and only if the population is completely immune due to exposure or a vaccine strong enough to confer full immunity.

The Covid vaccines are not proving to provide that level of immunity.

They indeed cause the body to produce antibodies but not specific enough or at a high enough rate to completely eliminate the virus when exposed.
