F-22 fails in Syria, pilots say

The F-22 is 20 years old and is quickly becoming outdated in the changing battlefield environment. we seriously need to get the bugs worked out of the F-35.

The F-22 entered service 12 years ago. It is not 20 years old.

Hopefully you read the article because the OP is out to lunch on what the article said.

My bad. I was Army and we didn't have anything like the F-22. Even though the F-22 is 12 years old, it's pretty hard to believe that a Russian Su30 or Su35 could get the best of it. Most Russian stuff is pretty much crap.

The OPs link actually talks about the F-22 identifying Russian and Syrian ground attack aircraft. The problem is the F-22 being tasked to do something it was not designed to do!

I'm sure someone's working on that problem. Maybe someone should thanks the Russkies for pointing out the problem.

How about "Russian Fighters Point Out Flaws In F-22 - Upgrades Soon To Follow".

How else did we develop the most powerful military in the world? The advances we've made in military technology and battlefield medicine since 2001 alone, are staggering. Every adversary we have is either scrambling to keep up with what we have, or to incorporate in into their own military.

Maybe they can see how it does in Venezuela or Nicaragua or somewhere else that yet to have a Great Satan Inc puppetry in place ?

At night, Russian Su 30 and Su 35 planes suddenly appear near F-22, surprising the pilots. The pilots also complain of missing Link 16 communication and helmet visors. Also, the Stealth capability is fading away under the sun and sands.

It seems one has to register in order to read the entire article. Any chance you can copy/paste a paragraph here that would corroborate what you claim the article states?

The F-22 outperforms the F-35, and not by a little.

Wow...they snuck up on the F-22 under cover of darkness. Sounds serious.

The US developed the most powerful military in the world by spending billions of dollars and creating wars in order to justify spending more.
