Though from the UK, I wonder if their laws are similar.

He said: “I understand the girl is 18. However, by recklessly sharing these images this man has, at best, set a bad example to young fans.

“At worst, if these photos were received out of the blue, he may have committed a criminal offence.”"


As an example for US citizens, sending an unsolicted nude photo of yourself can be illegal. In this case, the woman is 18, but even then it could fall under 'indecent exposure' laws if done unsolictedly.

Here in Missouri it's:

566.093. 1. A person commits the offense of sexual misconduct in the first degree if such person:

(1) Exposes his or her genitals under circumstances in which he or she knows that his or her conduct is likely to cause affront or alarm;
