Eviscerating 'The Roosevelt Alibi'

Correll continues to play "what if", which is meaningless.

And, Frank, never answered, "what nuke for the 3rd Shock Army? When? May? There were no bombs. July? One bomb was tested to make sure it worked. August? The two bombs we had were used. We had no more bombs until December."

Reagan was a supporter of FDR and a union guy for a long time. Reagan ballooned our deficit with the government credit card.

Your attempts, Correll and Frank, to revise American history will always fail because of those who know what you are trying. The public and higher education students show now interest in learning your nonsense.

Your love of Stalin is noted.

Instead of using 2 bombs on Japan, it would have been wise to hold one back to encourage your Hero, Uncle Joe to get back to the Barbarossa starting line

Snap goes the trap. Correll just a
CrusaderFrank, Correll, and PoliticalChic would have been quite satisfied with American non-involvement and a Nazi victory. And when the Germans V-3 and V-4 rockets were tipped with nuclear bombs, the devil's due would be presented to the USA.
Wait. You're playing silly what if games. I thought you were against such silly games? MMMMM?!
Snap goes the trap on your logic. Does it hurt? You just admitted by comparison that you were playing silly games. Your admission of defeat is noted and accepted.

Now you're just being a jerk.

I was obviously pointing out YOU not living up to YOUR standards.

If the government had not put out all of that crap propaganda about how the Russians were our friends and had demanded that Stalin publicly agreed to return to pre-war borders, it would have been possible to credibly threaten such actions.

Or even to NOT threaten it, and just have it be know.

Jake, tell the nurse you only pretended to take your morning meds

Correll gets tripped up in his nonsense.

Frank forgot that Hitler had surrendered two months earlier when we had NO a-bombs, and we used the second bomb on Japan when no surrender message came after the FIRST bomb. There was no way we could have an A bomb to play until December 1945, almost seven months after Germany's surrender.

You two birds would have played the use of the bombs exactly as did FDR and his advisers.

Why do you think FDR got Stalin to promise in writing to hold Free Elections in soviet occupied Europe?

Then, instead of acting like a liberal and having others take care of you, research it fully.

For Pete's sake, take responsibility for your learning.

If you want to rank FDR as a great president, one has to consider What Ifs.

Lord knows you libs like to do that when you claim that the SU would have collapsed even IF Reagan was not President.
Absolutely, if Reagan had not managed to get Gorby into office the Cold War would still be going on.

Gorby was responding to a situation that Reagan created.

Would that situation have caused Stalin to drop the cold war?

Correll, have you done your research? Show me what you have learned, and I will respond fairly. Your research topic is "Why do you think FDR got Stalin to promise in writing to hold Free Elections in soviet occupied Europe?"

That's a weird question.

A lot changed between the two times.

Looking at WWII and asking if a hardline anti-communist was in charge, and asking what he would do...

"My research"?

You've been very confident in putting forth your opinions up until now. Why the sudden hesitation?
