Everybody Hates John Kasich

I don't hate Kasich. He was my top choice in the 2016 GOP primary. Any rational analysis of his record as Ohio's governor shows that he was conservative on most issues. He supports building the wall, securing the border, and ending sanctuary cities. When he was in Congress, he earned very high ratings from conservative groups. But, he's not conservative enough for Republican fire-eaters.

It isn't Kasich's standing as a "conservative", but the fact that he refuses even to dialogue with his President. Didn't even attend the Tremendous Convention in Cleveland.

Kasich is around my age, actually a few years older. Back when we were growing up, you were taught a mans handshake is as good as a contract. A mans word is as valuable as his soul, because if a man went back on his word, he is never to be trusted again.

Kasich promised he would support whoever the nominee happened to be. Not only did he go back on his word, he's been tirelessly bashing Trump every given chance he gets. Maybe younger people don't understand how scared those creeds are to us older folks, but I'm sure many older folks understand quite well.

'Difficult People' star fumes after John Kasich gets her airplane seat

Julie Klausner, known for the Hulu sitcom "Difficult People," said the Republican was an “obnoxious” flight companion on her podcast, “How Was Your Week?

She said a pilot needed to fly last-minute aboard the plane and bumped Kasich out of his seat, according to Cleveland.com. But instead of taking the downgraded seat he was assigned, the former presidential candidate took the comedian’s, the outlet reported.

Klausner, who identifies as a liberal, said once she read up on Kasich — and his political views — she decided to post about the incident on Twitter.

“The funny thing about it is when I tweeted about it, I realized people on both sides hate him,” Klausner says. “Because I guess Republicans hate him because he’s like, you know, not fascist enough, and then obviously people on our side hate him because he’s just a bad person.

“Just having interacted with him or interacted near him, I never met anyone so d-----y and obnoxious and just dripping with disdain for people who in his mind aren’t as important as he is. I hope he – I don’t know. I hope he goes away forever. He sucks.”
I really can't get any sympathy generated for someone who is so brainwashed that she believes Republicans are fascists.

Kasich is a RINO traitor who defends and harbors illegals while Americans are getting killed by illegals. So yeah, I hate Kasich.
When I was trying to size up all the Republican Presidential contenders during the 2016 campaign, I distinctly recall an interview he did and I was WAITING to hear him state his view of the Islamization that was and is being infused into our society.

And EVERY SINGLE TIME the subject turned toward Islam or Muslims in America, he very deftly shifted the conversation to a different subject.

If he was the GOP nominee I would not cast a vote at all.

The level and the tenor of ire I feel for him is unique. There is no one I can think of who I feel this way about or feel this strongly negative about.

I would not wish him ill, but I lean in thst direction.

So do I. I dislike the sleazy bastard almost as much as Hillary Clinton.

And he does not seem very bright? On the debate stage, Land O' Goshen! Like he did not belong? All i could see was "mr. Haney" of Green Acres TV fame, but not as smart.
Great comment. I agree!!!

I'll vote for him if he runs.

I'd certainly consider it. I'm liking Schultz right now, though.
that's awesome that you would vote for him. that's my man! will you read Schultz's book? i have it as an audiobook, but i'm listening to other stuff for the moment

"when i get to washington i'm gonna shove it up Kasich's ass!" - Trump, after winning the election

Kasich is desperately trying to take the mantle of a Republican party of days gone by.

Kasich didn't stand a chance at the nomination because he didn't hire any consultants. If he did hire any, he should have gotten his money back.

Nobody could take his non-stop talking about what he did in Ohio as Governor and as a Congressman. We don't care what you did in the past, we care about what you're going to do in the future. He put the final nail in the coffin when he started to preach how we need a pathway to citizenship and DACA. That's not something most conservatives wanted to hear. We already have a pathway to citizenship. We are the only country in the world that allows a million foreigners a year to become a citizen of their country. Because we are a nation of laws, we shouldn't be rewarding anybody for sneaking in and staying out of the shadows for several years.
