That the elites have had enough of being exposed for what they are? Petty tyrants and tinpot dictators looking to be unquestioned dictators?

It seems to me that those trying to consolidate power and isolate their would-be subjects have finally decided it's time to move and quickly lest more of their plans be exposed and resisted. Fuck the law and the hang the rules, checks and balances. They're just going to do it anyway and you can damn well bet they'd be willing to use force, legal or otherwise to shut down opposition.
Life was so much better for them, pre-internet and talk radio when they could call those who disagreed with crackpots and kooks with small subscription lists to their raving news letters. At least then they sounded like they had credibility. Not so much today.
Dark days, they are a-coming.
