You haven’t seen bridges that have sidewalks? Locally, there is a well used bridge with sidewalks that have been used ever since that bridge was built. It crosses state lines.

More recently, expansion of bike lanes throughout the nation that don’t stop at bridges. You can walk across numerous bridges, including the Rainbow Bridge connecting Canada. Walking bridges are being built, not torn down. Your point is weak. There has always been more than one way to get from point A to B.

The Climate Change End Timers do not understand the rules of thermodynamics.
It's more efficient to burn fuel directly in the car, than to burn it at the power plant and then transmit over the power lines.

Charging also has a large percentage of wasted energy built into the process.
