No, these are treasures that belong to everyone. Yes, the BLM and NPS abuse people. But that is the people in them, not the organisations themselves per se. It is evil petty tyrants acting like assholes because they have little real oversight. That can be changed. These tracks though, and other trace fossils like them, are irreplaceable. The fact that the claims are that the tracks are being tossed into the lake is problematic for me. That leads me to suspect that the government employees are involved in the illegal fossil trade.
