So Donald Trump has basically two choices. One he keeps obstructing every investigation possible and the other one is he stops obstructing and lets witnesses go in front of Congress and talk about his criminality. That’s it for him. That’s all he’s got. Obstruction, as bad as it looks, is better than people going out there and spelling out his crimes.
For the Democrats, it’s a little bit more difficult. They don’t want to impeach him yet until they have more evidence. And it’s difficult to get the evidence when the White House is blocking witnesses and documentation.
So where should the Democrats begin? They should start with people Trump can’t block. Where he can’t claim executive privilege.
We know from Michael Cohen there’s so much criminality that if others like that were brought in front of the house and spelled out what they know the American people would demand more transparency from the president.
The Democrats should also work harder on on fast tracking lawsuits.
At least that’s how I see it.
