............“He sees a man who, aspirationally, he would like to be like,” said Danielle Pletka, who directs foreign and defense policy studies at the conservative American Enterprise Institute. Referring to Mr. Trump, she added: “His instincts are authoritarian, and dangerous.”
Peter D. Feaver, a Duke University professor who served on the National Security Council under President George W. Bush, described Mr. Trump’s admiration as “deeply troubling.” He recently joined 49 other Republican foreign policy veterans in a public letter that condemned Mr. Trump for lacking “basic knowledge about, and belief in, the U.S. Constitution, U.S. laws and U.S. institutions.”
Mr. Trump has publicly urged Russian hackers, whom American intelligence officials believe broke into Democratic Party computers, to gain access to Hillary Clinton’s email account. He notes that he could team up with Mr. Putin, who “says great things about me,” to wipe out Islamic State terrorists.
“Putin is playing him” for his own reasons, Mr. Feaver said. Those reasons, he added, include the Russian leader’s hope that Mr. Trump will weaken NATO, reduce America’s role in global affairs, and leave Moscow a freer hand.....................
The guy is dangerous and Hitler like.
If Putin is so bad, why did Obama promise to be more flexible after 2012?
Why does anyone still remain so utterly stupid as to pay attention to what comes out of the mouths of corporate state american politicos when they know we're all being played?
Two reasons. One, politicians tend to screw up, what they say they are going to screw up. Obama said he was going to screw up the health care system, and he did.
He said he was going to screw up the economy, and he did.
So, ignoring things like what politicians say they are going to mess up, is how we get to where we are.
Second, the tin foil hat, "corporations own government" conspiracy fruit bats, are always wrong about everything. Not only are they wrong, but they point to everything they are wrong about, and claim it proves they were right.
"They never went to the moon!"
(they bring back moon rocks)
"See!?! They brought back moon rocks, and they were rocks! That proves I was right!"
Similarly, you people are exactly the same.
"The corporations own the country"
(Enron fails, bankrupts, CEOs in prison)
"See a corporation failed and they only went to prison! This proves I'm right!"
(they pass interest rate limitations on credit cards opposed by all the banks)
"See they passed all the laws they hate, and still make money! It proves I'm right!"
(they pass massive regulations on health insurance, causing insurance companies to lose money on health exchanges, and many other policies)
"See they passed regulations and the insurance companies are still making a profit! It proves I was right!"
Over and over and over, the big companies oppose things that government pushes through, and yet no matter what the outcome, some how in the twisted "corporatist America" crowd, everything still proves you right, no matter how contradictory the evidence is.
Basically, all evidence regardless of what it actually shows.... proves that corporations own the government, no matter what happens, unless all companies go bankrupt at the same time... of course by then, it would be too late to save the country.
