To commemorate the 20th anniversary of 9/11 Zondervan has licensed releasing the "God Bless the USA" Bible that will include the U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence and pledge of allegiance, in addition to the lyrics for the song of the same name by country singer Lee Greenwood., “God Bless the USA.” This is a toxic mix that will exacerbate the challenges to American evangelicalism, adding fuel to the Christian nationalism and anti-Muslim sentiments found in many segments of the evangelical church.

I am not all that concerned about Trump‘s religion. However, I do like a President who enforces border laws. I also like a President who knows how to keep gasoline prices low and inflation under control. Plus I am not all that fond of wars in far off hell holes to make profits for the military industrial complex. I also would love to see the corruption in the D.C. Swamp reduced If not eliminated.

At the minimum I want a better President than the one we have today. Joe Biden is in a close race in my opinion to replace Jimmy Carter at the bottom of the list of modern presidents. Jimmy Carter is a nice guy and is religious.
