And now he has publicly announced that the Syrian government has nothing to fear from him.

You don't have to plan to send in troops. You don't have to commit to longterm opposition to tyranny. But don't freaking announce that serious action is off the table.

That's what happens when you don't have a sound Foreign Policy ...a diplomatic strategy backed by force, leading up front instead of "from behind" ...... it's almost impossible to organize a coalition.

The world doesn't respect weakness .... and weakness is what Obama has been showing all along.

Well the whole world is with us on sanctions on N Korea and Iran for the first time, but people are worried by a redo of Iraq, getting lied to for war, so that's what's happening here. And WE haven't even decided yet on an attack. It's all about undoing Booosh's damage, as on everything else.

    Destroy all their RUNWAYS! TYVM

Venezuela, Cuba and North Korea are our closest things to allies in the Obama Era.

Well, that's good to hear, either way.

I'm tired of Obama emasculating us. If anyone will still stand by us, I'm grateful to them. There is still the problem of Obama's lack of resolve to do anything effective. Is it better to do nothing and not actively create enemies, or to make a token effort because the U.S. has to take some kind of stand? I'm pissed that Obama has already said so much is off the table. But if the U.S. does nothing, that would be the worst of all. So vive la France.

Didn't I say this was going to happen a year ago? I called it right on the button.

There are no allies. France is not an ally. France has agreed to stand at the sidelines and silently cheer.

    Why don't we have allies?

Because no one believes that Assad really used those chemical weapons.
