Yes, yes we know he's quick to take credit. But does he ever admit he fucked up and take responsibility?

He didn't go to France? Security. Not his fault.
Any glitch in the economy? Bush's fault.
Can't get bills passed? It's the obstructionist Congress fault.
Pull all the troops out of Iraq? The Iraqi's fault.

Does the guy EVER say, "I'm the President and I take full responsibility?"

Maybe he does but I don't remember it.

I have no idea if anyone else said the following.....

The left will say that it would be imposible for Obama to admit fault because....
He has never done anything where he is at fault.

I remember one time....
Stimulus...He said there weren't that many shovel ready jobs.
That's all that comes to mind...

Otherwise everything was Bush's fault.

It ain't pretty.

He does but he claims it's always someone else's fault.

Early in Obama's first term, his supporters said he hadn't been in office long enough to be blamed for things going wrong. However, if something happened to go well, they were quick to give him credit despite the same amount of time in office. I'm curious to know how someone can be somewhere long enough to get credit but not take blame.

Not going himself, I can wrap my head around. The security necessary to protect a president overseas is prohibitive and disruptive. But not sending Biden? Or even Holder?

Obama dropped the ball. We should have been represented, showing our support for our ally. Americans and French snark at each other. But at the end of the day, they are our brothers. And we owe more to France than most of us know.

It was this latest mess about not going to France that got me thinking about it. He should have just come out and taken full responsibility for it. Give a rousing speech about how committed the US is to it's strong ally and how he should have been there or sent someone, etc.

Instead, it was the secret service's fault. THEY couldn't pull it together in time.
