Do you think the rich care about you?

Actually, I'm not a socialist, as I've posted here before. I'm not rich, but I just don't identify with the mass of people.

But do you think the rich care about you? Do you think that what occupies a rich person's mind is, "I wonder what happens to so and so in so and so town working at so and so job?

Of course not! They don't care about you, at all. There is nothing further from their minds than your life or what happens to you. That's, in fact, what it means to be rich.

Here is what they care about: making sure their profits and assets go to infinity. That's it. Anything and everything to accomplish that. Including making sure the central banks buy up all the bad debt to make sure there is no write down in their asset values. Including using up every possible resource as quickly as possible. Including offshoring your work, and inviting immigrants in, all to drive down wages.

All they care about is turning money into more money, perpetually, into the future, for all time. They aren't interested in making better products, or giving to charity, or feeding the world, or employing people at decent wages, or any of that. All of that is a front, the public image.

The system has been going on for centuries. If it was going to make a wonderful utopia, it would have done that already. But you people keep insisting it's always in the future...20, 50, 100 years away.

Just allow the rich to accumulate more and more money, and all the problems of mankind will be solved. That is your ideology, that is what you believe. I'm just the messenger telling you that is not the case. The rich just care about themselves.

The progressives certainly don't. To them you are merely a vote to be used and then ignored.
