Do you think the rich care about you?

Actually, I'm not a socialist, as I've posted here before. I'm not rich, but I just don't identify with the mass of people.

But do you think the rich care about you? Do you think that what occupies a rich person's mind is, "I wonder what happens to so and so in so and so town working at so and so job?

Of course not! They don't care about you, at all. There is nothing further from their minds than your life or what happens to you. That's, in fact, what it means to be rich.

Here is what they care about: making sure their profits and assets go to infinity. That's it. Anything and everything to accomplish that. Including making sure the central banks buy up all the bad debt to make sure there is no write down in their asset values. Including using up every possible resource as quickly as possible. Including offshoring your work, and inviting immigrants in, all to drive down wages.

All they care about is turning money into more money, perpetually, into the future, for all time. They aren't interested in making better products, or giving to charity, or feeding the world, or employing people at decent wages, or any of that. All of that is a front, the public image.

The system has been going on for centuries. If it was going to make a wonderful utopia, it would have done that already. But you people keep insisting it's always in the future...20, 50, 100 years away.

Just allow the rich to accumulate more and more money, and all the problems of mankind will be solved. That is your ideology, that is what you believe. I'm just the messenger telling you that is not the case. The rich just care about themselves.

I think some rich people care but they are out of touch with the rest which makes them come off flippant.
I guess you could say Bill Gates and Warren Buffett care about the poor given that they are leaving their entire fortunes to charities for the poor. 1+1 = 2

Yet, you support the very corporations you detest!

?

I think they should exist but they should pay their taxes and stop being tratiors. No fucking way should we cut a single cent out of the safetynet.

Again, you support the traitors

Yes corporations are Traitors because of their life saving jobs and products. We should love them much like we love food. Notice that a conservative must always run a kindergarten for liberals

They have more to give so that's good. Individual people can be quite giving no matter the financial status. However, when you are at an absolute poverty level it's hard to donate. So you usually give your time by volunteering.

The top 1% pay 45% of all income tax so that means the entire bloated crippling social safety net is paid for by about the top 1 to 5% They are the kings of the universe!

I'd say providing life-sustaining jobs and products necessary for our survival plus paying for the social safety net and all the charity Makes them as Heroic as anybody can be

Here's the question do the rich care about you. The beauty of capitalism is that to succeed you have to care about your workers and customers. If you don't you Go bankruptand the corporation that does care about his workers and customers thrived

Why should I care? That's not their job and my job is not to care about their well-being either. I wish them no ill-will and wish them even more success!

I think The Rich care about me as much as I care about them. I don't waste my time worrying about the nonsense in the OP.
