Actually, I'm not a socialist, as I've posted here before. I'm not rich, but I just don't identify with the mass of people.

But do you think the rich care about you? Do you think that what occupies a rich person's mind is, "I wonder what happens to so and so in so and so town working at so and so job?

Of course not! They don't care about you, at all. There is nothing further from their minds than your life or what happens to you. That's, in fact, what it means to be rich.

Here is what they care about: making sure their profits and assets go to infinity. That's it. Anything and everything to accomplish that. Including making sure the central banks buy up all the bad debt to make sure there is no write down in their asset values. Including using up every possible resource as quickly as possible. Including offshoring your work, and inviting immigrants in, all to drive down wages.

All they care about is turning money into more money, perpetually, into the future, for all time. They aren't interested in making better products, or giving to charity, or feeding the world, or employing people at decent wages, or any of that. All of that is a front, the public image.

The system has been going on for centuries. If it was going to make a wonderful utopia, it would have done that already. But you people keep insisting it's always in the future...20, 50, 100 years away.

Just allow the rich to accumulate more and more money, and all the problems of mankind will be solved. That is your ideology, that is what you believe. I'm just the messenger telling you that is not the case. The rich just care about themselves.

Drinking isn't for everyone. If you find you can't stop at one or two drinks, perhaps abstain for a while. If you find that too hard to do, then you may have a problem. Seek help early before this condition gets out of hand.

And like most sober people, I don't care if the rich, poor or middle class "care" about me.

Everybody primarily cares about themselves, rich or poor, black or white, male or female, young or old, repub or dem. Most people anyway, some don't but there are a lot of rich people who try to give something back. You've got a hate-on for the wealthy and I doubt anything anyone says is going to change your opinion but I will say that all that hate and anger and resentment is not going to make a difference to them but it'll diminish you.

So what do you consider rich?

Good question.

Do tell OP.

I have only know one Very rich man. The only reason he liked me was I was honest with him. He asked If I voted for him, I said NO and he asked why? I told him that in my position as Deputy I owed my job to the man who signed the payroll. Must have been the right answer I was promoted to SGT the next day. I hated that but he put me on the trust list that day.

If so why do most of them donate to charity millions of times more money than you do and why do so many of them leave most of their esstates to charity like for example gates and buffet the two richest man in America
You are a typical liberal bigot in thinking you are morally superior or more caring based on nothing but your own ignorance and prejudice

I think some rich people care but they are out of touch with the rest which makes them come off flippant.

?

I think they should exist but they should pay their taxes and stop being tratiors. No fucking way should we cut a single cent out of the safetynet.
The Safetynet should be immediately cut in half. When Bill Clinton ended welfare as we know it By making it workfare fully half decided they were no longer Poor enough to need welfare

Yet, you support the very corporations you detest!
