Do you really think obamacare is that good?

And they don't think it will collapse on its own

They will soon as the rough edges are smoothed out.

Here’s How Much the Average American Worker Has to Pay for Health Care

Here's How Much the Average Worker Pays for Health Care
What does what the Average worker pays for health care have to do with the ACA?

Is the ACA great? No.

Is it better than what we had before?

Yes.

Is it better than what the GOP have given us?

Yes.

They seem to run the same logic with everything. Is something perfect? No? Then get rid of it and replace it with anything else. That's how they voted for Trump. Anyone but Hilary, now they are failing left and right and blaming everyone else for it.

That's what im saying they try to tell you cost on obamacare is that cheap but in reality it is outragous

Stop posting nonsense and go read up some.

Obamacare is not an insurance plan, it is a law. Average worker pays more for healthcare AS THEY ALWAYS DID, the rate of growth in a decade before Obamacare was even steeper than now.

In individual market prices went up primarily because guess what, it costs something to cover all those sick people that before ACA could not get insured or only at sky high price. But ACA also covered more people with Medicaid and put in place subsidies so people can afford insurance according to thief income.

There is a reason Republicans can't undo the law after 7 years of claiming it to be an "abomination". And that reason is that the law does a lot of popular things that can't be provided without the rest of the framework.

Why do you keep lying? I already proved it that Obama shot up. Premiums in just a few years more then the 10 years before..

Well I have a friend that is an actuary for a large insurer and rates have steadily been going up for years and before ACA was expected to rise by close or double digits for many years to come. ACA helped speed that up because actuarially it really could not be determine what taking all the pre existing client's would do, even though there was reinsurance payments promised to the insurance companies to cover some of the losses of high risk people. Well thanks I believe to Rubio and congress they cut those payments down to insurance companies and therefore they are pulling out. That leaves their policyholder's no other choice than to sign up with another insurer in their area. The new insurer has taken on more high risk therefore raising premium's.

Because of the lack of reinsurance money promised under ACA I hate to be the bearer of bad things to come but your rates are going up quite a bit in 2018. Doesn't matter what congress does at this point 2018 is almost locked in. There are only a couple things congress can change for 2018 and it ain't premium's.

When Obama said some people would save $2500 per year he should have stated if you received a subsidy. When he said you can keep your doctor, he should have said if you're doctor remains as a contracted provider with your insurance company you can keep him. Many get in and out of network's yearly.

Then you have what is called the family glitch. That is when your employer offer's you coverage but it's only affordable to you and not to add your family. The glitch is because it's affordable to the employee the family if they decide to purchase an individual plan CANNOT qualify for subsidy regardless of household income.

Anyway it would have worked with a few tweaks. It is the feeling of some corporate insurance offices that the republican's are going to screw this up and make it even worse than what it is now for some people.

And the ones under 250% of federal poverty level and the ones who were going to have a baby.
