It's already that way. Nobody can vote locally unless they pass the test of being an American citizen, 18 or older on or before election day, has resided in the election district or ward at least 28 consecutive days, has not places a wager or bet on the outcome of the election, and hasn't been convicted of a felony for which the sentence hasn't been completed. There's also the matter of being able to prove their residence, register, and show a valid ID at the polling place.

Although there are what's called "confidential voters" who don't have to show an ID, such as those living in a battered women's shelter.

The white, Christian and Veteran caveats are too much.

I’m all for male, tax paying land owners being the only voters.

Surely if you were going to limit who could vote, you wouldn't limit it to these people. You'd limit it to educated people.
