Do you agree we all have an ID, EGO and SUPER EGO?

Is Freud's ID, EGO, Super EGO theory valid?

..... or do you think there is something wrong with this theory? If so, what?

According to this Freudian model of the psyche, the id is the set of uncoordinated instinctual trends; the super-ego plays the critical and moralizing role; and the ego is the organized, realistic part that mediates between the desires of the id and the super-ego.

I tend to believe this is spot on ....

Pretty basic, but it's something people seem to forget about (or ignore) on here as they ponder why people are the way they are....

I've always been interested in the human mind and how it works... especially how your past / upbringing affects how you are now....
