Unfortunately, it appears most at this forum would prefer to spend their time fruitlessly and endlessly arguing with those intent on destroying America, essentially wasting their time, rather take part in meaningful discussions on reality, courses of action and meaningful ways of preserving the Union.
Too many Americans feel "protected" by the US Constitution. It stands as the core set of guidelines that govern the treatment of American citizens in our nation.
In recent years, however, we have seen that some of the highest figures in American politics have implied that that document is merely an "obstacle" to their agendas.
If a President feels he (or she) can circumvent the Constitution with a mere pen and a phone, are you really protected? For how long?
Now we have entire states proclaiming and writing laws nullifying the Constitution and declaring they will not uphold Federal Laws on immigration and taxation.
It's important to note that Dictators and those intent on large scale corruption rely heavily on propaganda and an ignorant, gullible population such as that of Kim Jong Un's North Korean population.
I think it's time Americans begin to realize that it's not the Constitution that protects We The People, but instead We The People who must protect the Constitution. Unlike the people of Egypt during the Morsi episode which threatened rule by Dictator, The people of Venezuela failed to protect theirs while they still could and today they suffer immensely under a Dictator. Few Americans feel that the USA could ever fall to a Dictatorship, yet the very same strategies that put a Dictator in place in Venezuela and elsewhere are being implemented in the USA today as I write this. It happens in small increments often disguised as urgent public "safety" resolves, until it's too late.
Many strongly believe that unless Americans take it upon themselves to personally protect the Constitution, getting involved in ways that may not be "convenient or comfortable" it will eventually be discarded by those who seek to destroy the Great Land of Liberty. Some estimate we have a 25 year window to save the Constitution or within that time, the Left will be able to seize power and upend our laws and freedoms.
Had Hillary been elected, millions upon millions of unvetted immigrants would be pouring into the nation now to fulfill the Left's agenda of effectively nullifying American voters in a preclude to the dismantling of the framework set forth by the Founding Fathers. Germany is the example under Angela Merkel. Germany and the German people have surrendered their nation and their culture to Globalists agendas. The United States is but ONE errant election cycle away from a similar fate......if Americans do nothing.
