DNC Convention-The Fluke paradigm

Sandra Fluke certainly makes them nuts, don't they.

This is what happens when you let a great political party get hijacked by religious nutjobs.

A female who doesn't want to breed?

Who wouldn't be repulsed?

I'm not sure she doesn't want to breed. She, like most women, wants to decide the right time for them to bring a child into the world. That's something that Republicans can't seem to stand. They want to be the ones to tell women when and how they procreate.

I couldn't care less if she fucks the entire Washington Redskins football team. I just don't want to pay for her activities.

When you're finished "rubbing one out", try addressing something in the article.

What issues?

It's the usual whining that Ms. Fluke challenged the religious crazies by pointing out that women have a valid need for reproductive health services and it should be between a woman and her doctor... NOT a bunch of men talking in a room about what is best for the little lady.

Fine. Let it be between a woman and her doctor. Keep the taxpayers out of it.

For her trouble, a closeted gay loudmouth on talk radio called her a bunch of vile names, and the man who aspires to be the leader of the free world didn't denounce it or repudiate it because he was afraid of what the zombies who listen to him might do.

If she can't stand the heat, then she can get out of the kitchen. She made herself a public figure. You know what they say: the higher up the pole you go, the better people can see your ass.

She was just fine with "the heat". Limbaugh was the guy who had to apologize when he lost a bunch of sponsors and half his show is PSA's today because no one wants their product associated with his bile.

They shouldnt cover that shit either.

To me its not the sex angle that makes Ms. Fluke a character of mention. Its her overall background and her viewpoint that reflects perfectly the current democratic party.

A career student/activist who wants other people to pay for things.

An insurance plan is a shared risk plan. It isn't asking other people to pay for things. I bet you think women should pay more for health insurance, since they have babies.

Thanks for removing all doubt that you're an idiot

Yes, thats what insurance is, but why should birth control be singled out as a no-copay medication? A copay is from $5 to $15. By eliminating it the shared risk is spread out among the other users of the insurance plan in an unbalanced way.

Let insurance cover it if the plan wants to, and let people pay a copay just like any other medication.

If your insurance plan covers a certain medication, then you are helping to pay for it. Your demagoguery only fools the liberal imbeciles.

I think you have it all wrong.

Ms. Fluke pays $30,000 a year to attend Georgetown University.

Part of her $30,000 a year tuition is that her medical expenses will be covered. She paid for that.

Just like everyone else who has a private insurance plan is either paying for or working for that coverage. Private insurance is compensation, it is not a gift.

If Georgetown's insurance policy doesn't cover it, then she didn't pay for it.

Do you imbeciles understand how insurance works?

Yes they should. they should pay more, or their husbands should pay more. Whoever is paying for it should pay for the true cost of the coverage.

Only congenital idiots believe that people who don't have babies aren't paying extra because of the ones who do have babies.

Do you imbeciles understand how insurance works?

If the law says it has to, she did.

Sorry, I understand how insurance works very well, and hope for the day we go to single payer like every other advanced society has. Because private insurance sucks.

With ObamaCare, it just sucks a little less.

Yep, this really backfired on fat lushbo who has so little sex he doesn't even know how bc pills work. Backfired big time on the misogynistic R who tried so hard to use her for their own purposes.

They keep lying about her wanting free birth control but only the real idiots who never bothered to listen to what she REALLY said still believe that lie.

No one wants free bc or free abortions and all the lies the R can trot out will change that FACT.

Then why are you and Ms Fluke constantly blubbering about how Rush supposedly abused her so much?

The law doesn't say that. If you want to change the law, then you want to force everyone to pay for her sexual activities. That's precisely the issue under discussion here.

No, you obviously don't understand how it works. Anyone who claims a single guy who has in insurance policy that covers birth control isn't paying for that birth control is either an idiot or a liar.

Nothing could possibly suck worse than Obamacare.

ObamaCare is a step in the right direction but we ain't there yet.

I tell ya though, I will be damn pissed if the &*(^&%^$% rw's succeed in taking money out of MY pocket to keep the SOCIALIST system that Ronnie RayGun forced on us. Just because they're so damn dumb and/or stubborn not to take advantage of the benefits of ObamaCare does not mean I should give up MY benefits.

Maybe becaue his behavior was unacceptable?

If Sandra was your mom, your sister or your daughter, you wouldn't want her talked about in that way.

If she was telling Congress that she demands that I pay for her birth control pills, then I would tell her myself that she's a stupid self-serving slut.

1) The law DOES say that now. That's the point of ObamaCare. Or one of the problems it fixed, anyway.

2) An insurance policy that isn't covering what you are ailing from RIGHT NOW is making you pay for stuff you aren't using.

My problem isn't what I'm paying for and not using. My problem was when I went to an insurance company to get the coverage I had paid/worked for, they fought me tooth and nail for a year before finally signing off on the operations I needed, and then "encouraged" my employer to dispense with my services (After paying me a large bribe to not sue them.)

Well, probably explains why you spend all your time here, then...

Great graphic. It subtly reminds the public about just how unabashedly mean some on the otherside are. And of the posters here that agreed with Limbaugh.

When you think of Fluke you're reminded of just how small the Republican party has become.

I'll type slowly 'cause you've proved you're a moron.

How much does it cost an insurance company to provide birth control pills?

How much is passed on to all other customers of said insurance company?

You don't know, nor do I.

What I do know, and you're not bright enough to figure out, is the cost to cover a pregnancy - regular checkups, prenatal vitamins, the cost for a normal birth and the cost for a not so normal birth or C section far exceed the pennies per year BC Pills would add on to a single policy.

Her sex life is none of your business so shut up.

If I (or you) pay for your health insurance, its no one's business.

Why don't rw's understand or accept that basic fact?

MY health care insurance is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.

YOUR health care insurance is NONE OF MY BUSINESS.

We need to get the damned rw's OUT of our personal business.
