How has your life improved under the Obama regime?

I've been promoted twice and just closed on my first home the other day.

That was easy.

I bought a house, My taxes went down and I had a baby.The raise-freeze in my corporation also ended a couple of years ago.

had to quit my job for a better paying one so I could afford the increased cost of living

and am currently looking for another to cover the increased cost of living

aside from that, the rest is completly on me.

First, why do you want to exclude why we made him president to start with?

Second, when did it become the president's job to make my life better.

For me personally, the fact he saved GM probably saved my job, even though I don't work for GM. ( I work for one of its key vendors, and my job at that time dealt with GM.)

Company I worked for was bleeding badly in 2009, but it's stablized since.

My 401K which was busted in 2009, is actually pretty healthy because the stock market bounced back.

I get to watch rightwing racist heads explode at least twice daily. It's like Reality TV minus the commercials.

Oh, and my income is higher & there's a kid in the mix.

I made a $1,000,000, bought 5 houses and 6 new cars.

The point is to name the improvement and tie it to Obama.

Anyone can make any statement.

Who cares, the poinjt is you asked - he answered. The second point is - Obama didn't somehow prevent him from doing so and/or destroy his way of life as you'd think with all of the rhetoric.

He signed the Stimulus bill, which lowered my taxes.

He signed the stimulus bill, which directly thereafter the recession stabilized, my corp. stopped the freeze, and my 401k rebounded.

Not sure how else he could have helped, a reach around?

Um, yes - he was. Tax cuts were part of bills he helped design and he signed.
