Did You Know That Democrats Have Tried to Impeach EVERY Elected Republican President since 1960?

Of course there was no Republican POTUS elected in 1960, because Kennedy was elected. Nor was there one in 1964 when LBJ was elected. 1968 did see a Republican POTUS when Nixon squeaked in, but no impeachment was introduced against him until after the 1972 re-election. And when it was, it was supported from every side. So here already the OP has padded his specious claim by twelve years. And counting.

1976, no Republican, Jimmy Carter elected. Finally in 1980 and 1984, Reagan the Republican elected and re-elected and Henry Gonzalez filed impeachment articles (1987, after Iran Contra scandal broke) that went nowhere. OP has padded his dates by 27 years. In 1988 HW Bush was elected, Gonzalez again files article, again goes nowhere. 1992 and 1996 was Clinton, who did face impeachment but ruh-roh, he's not a Republican.

So apparently, somebody filed articles against Dubya.

The Cliff's Notes to cut the bullshit.

This dimwitted one doesn't understand that "since 1960" means everything AFTER 1960. What a moron.

NO SHIT SHERLOCK.

And as just laid out --- it would be impossible to bring articles of impeachment on a R POTUS before 1969 because THERE WEREN'T ANY.

And then when such articles were brought up in '73 (?) they were bipartisan. That shoots thirteen years off his foot all by itself.

And then the next POTUS was a Democrat, SEE STEP ONE.

Not until 1987 can you find a Democrat (singular) bringing impeachment articles by hisself. And yet OP be talkin' about 'since 1960".

FUCK outta here. Put lipstick on the turd all you want, it remains a turd.
...And political correctness has made you fucking retarded

Yep. Funny, isn't it? Reagan, both Bushes and Trump deserved to be impeached and removed. It is actually surprising that not more of an effort was made to get rid of all of them.

Funnier still, they keep electing liars, crooks and criminals, and then they whine about how they are victimized by someone who dares to point it out. ... Okay, that's not so funny; rather, it's the definition of "Republican".

You know, you guys really need to read the link.................especially this part..........

The U.S. has had six republican presidents since Eisenhower left office in 1961: Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, George W. Bush, and Donald Trump. The claim is wrong on its face because Democrats made no effort to impeach Ford. While a handful of Democratic lawmakers have introduced articles of impeachment against five of the last six Republican presidents, in most cases these efforts weren’t taken seriously by the party at large. Nixon and Trump have been the only Republican presidents since Ike who have faced a serious threat of impeachment.

It clearly states that only a handful of democratic lawmakers have introduced articles of impeachment, but they were not taken seriously by the party at large. Basically, that means there was someone like AOC running around in the Congress of every Republican president who held office since Ike, but nobody paid any attention to them and the bills were never passed or brought to the floor.

The news probably didn't report it because it wasn't something that Congress was taking seriously, so there was no need to report on it. The only impeachment proceedings that have been taken seriously and actual action was taken by Congress was with Nixon, Clinton, and now Trump.
No cup cake for you, loser.

lol, I lived through those times and the calls for impeachment against Reagan, W Bush and others were as real as any others.

How many times have Dims voted to impeach DJT already? Three I think? All defeated and this one, if it goes to the Senate will not be upheld either.

Dems do not believe ANY Republican President is legit, no matter who they are and will move to impeach as a reflex.

They were calling for Trumps impeachment 19 minutes after he finished being sworn in!

As to the Ford thingy, I said ELECTED Republican Presidents. Ford was not elected.
Poor Reagan. The only thing he did wrong was selling weapons to terrorists and using the proceeds to finance Central American terrorists. Fortunately for him he couldn`t recall doing that 88 times.

The statement is still true however and it highlights the fact that the Democratic party sees impeachment as a viable alternative to losing an election.

Impeachment has nothing to do with "an election". This may be beyond your mental pay grade but if a POTUS is removed from office, his VP goes in. It doesn't nullify any election.

Pogo is an idiot who thinks repeating known facts against is assertions somehow magically turn those statements into supporting statement.s

EVERY ELECTED REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT GETS BROUGHT UP ON IMPEACHMENT AGAINST THEM BY DEMOCRATS.

ALL OF THEM, WITH ZERO EXCEPTIONS.

Trump did nothing illegal except for winning against a Dimocrat in 2016.

What elected Republican President was not mocked by Democrats for being either stupid, ignorant or evil?

Name one that Democrats have liked since 1960.

Republicans who deserved impeachment

Nixon: Watergate
Reagan: Iran Contra
Bush 43: Lying to start Iraq War
