Dems Give Charlie Rangel Standing Ovation For Being Unethical...

Past honorable Military Service just isn't enough to excuse this. And a Standing Ovation is not appropriate and i don't care how much the Dems try and spin things. Instead of applauding him they should be demanding his resignation. Just think about the last Election and how Democrats viciously attacked John McCain. Did his past honorable Military Service matter to them then? Obviously it didn't. If Rangel resigns,i'll give him a Standing Ovation.

Just because some morons on the left mocked McCain for injuries he sustained as a POW, and disrespected his service, does not mean that you have to be a moron about Rangel. I dislike Rangel's behavior, and I disagree with his politics... however, he served his country with honor in the military and that deserves recognition. I also think he should resign. I wouldn't applaud him for doing the right thing - but I won't hang the man either.

The idiots are conflating Applauding his Bravery, with excusing his ethics issues. That's why they're called idiots.

I think you need to go watch the video at the link before you embarrass yourself any further. The service he was applauded for, we are referring to is his work in Congress, not on the battle field.

Yup it's all about that past Military Service when it comes to corrupt Democrats. Hilarious chit. I'm gonna have to remember this stuff. Now i've heard everything.

No, you are the idiot, because he didn't start whining about his bravery til his ass was on the hot seat.

You are an idiot like your strawman. Try the Yellow Brick Road again, and this time ask for a "brain," not "rain."

Until you can prove your accusation that they applauded him for being unethical, your OP is nothing but drivel.

They applauded his service. I may not agree with the man's politics, and I sure as hell disapprove of his behavior, but he did serve his country with honor at one time.

This is great stuff to know. Past Military Service justifies corruption? Seriously,i'm gonna have to remember this Democrat hilarity. Funny stuff. :)

Are you dense? Who said his service justifies his corruption? Name names, idiot.

Hmm, just a question, why didn't this thread end up in the Romper Room?? The subject matter is laughable at best, as is the troll who posted it.

A man's Military Service 50yrs. ago has absolutely nothing to do with his corruption. I don't care how Dems try and spin their Standing Ovation. It was Bull Shit. Just like their whole "Culture of Corruption" scam. Let me know when Rangel resigns. Until then i'll continue to say him and the Democrats are full of shit. They shouldn't be applauding the man. They should be demanding his resignation instead.

Damn good guess there Ollie. It's actually just over 74%

Damn and I almost said 75%.

It's really rather simple.

Yes the man deserves respect for his Military Service.

Yes the man deserves respect as a dully elected US Congressman.

No the man does not deserve a standing ovation because he made a one minute speech after being censured.

He should have hung his head in shame.

Why are you bragging about it, the dems make up 80% of the lists....

Not to belabor the point...but look at how many were about the Civil War.

He shouldn't have been applauded at all. One has absolutely nothing to do with the other. The Democrats are such frauds. "Culture of Corruption?" Still LMFAO over that one. So sick of these Lame Duckers. Time for them to go.

Why Does Rangel get a slap on the wrist censure and Wesley Snipes gets a prison term.

They both did the same thing. What a corrupt government we have......

Frauds?

It was Pelosi's new commission and rules that caught Rangel's ethics violation.

The Republicans plan on getting rid of both.

They actually wanted to change the rules when Delay got in trouble.

No they didn't.

Snipes didn't bother to file income taxes.

What Rangel did was essentially filing mistakes.

Very very different.

Yeah, the guy who writes the tax codes makes tax mistakes. Sure he does. That's his story and he's sticking to it. By the way; the prisons are full of innocent people, just go ask them they'll tell you.
