Dems Claiming only Parts of Obama Care can be Repealed with Reconciliation

Really?

Now we have Democrats claiming only the Mandate Can Be Repealed with a 51 Vote Majority.

Problem.

THEY PASSED the entire bill using Reconciliation, Passed with 51 Votes, should be able to be struck down with 51 Votes.

You reap what you sew.

They are dishonest and wrong. It passed as a reconciliation and it got affirmed as a tax bill.

It can be ditched without concern for any filibuster.

It will be.

Without the congress AND ROMNEY you got nothing.

Like mentioned before the independents support the bill

Americans Issue Split Decision on Healthcare Ruling

Like I mentioned in your thread, Independents support the decision, not the law.

_yf6icfrzughukud-xffwq.gif

Yes they do, your own graph shows only 23% of independents want the law repealed like the GOP do.

Actually, 49% of independents want the law repealed in whole or in part, 52% overall want the same thing, and even 27% of Democrats wouldn't object to that.

By the way, it is a chart, not a graph, and it isn't mine, it is yours. I got it from your link.

23% repeal, 26% repeal Parts of it.

Douche, Do try to play with all the facts.

The GOP is throwing a pissy fit calling for full repeal, which only 23% of independents want. Wanting to repeal parts of the bill means leaving the bill in place, but modify it.

Stupid fuck, you're what, like 0 for 6 in this thread alone? :cuckoo:

More name calling from mr Debate. it means 49% are not happy with the Bill as a Whole.

Which is exactly where I fall, I want to keep parts and replace others, to try and get something that will actually work.

You just want to blindly Support a flawed Bill because you think your side is always right.

Once again, a Partisan Hack.

You claimed only Republicans don't like it, But I am the liar.

To funny.

How will you get 51 votes?

The GOP should take back the Senate in 2012. The Democrats are defending more seats this time.

It will be fun to watch the GOP's first move (they said it would be) be to tell persons with pre-existing conditions that they are now going to be out in the cold if they lose their insurance.

It will be fun to watch the GOP's first move (they said it would be) be to tell persons on their parent's insurance to start paying the insurance companies out of their own pockets; if they have pre-existing conditions such as asthma, anti-epileptic, or some sort of congenital defect the drug therapy can be hundreds of dollars a month.

It will be fun to watch the GOP's first move (they said it would be) be to tell the poor and uninsured that they can no longer count on the subsidized health insurance that WAS going to be available to them.

It will be lots of fun. And they wonder why they are thought of the way they are.

Which is why I said, they better not just go For Repeal. They have to have a plan to take the popular parts of this bill, Keep them, and alternatives to replace the parts that they do not think will work.

At least if they want to keep my vote they better.

The Democrats did not want to give the GOP's Ideas the time of day when they Passed Obama Care. If The Republicans take control now. They will be pressured to do something, and the other side will have to play ball.

They didn't pass the entire bill using reconciliation, moron.

After getting 60 yeas in a cloture vote the bill went on to another vote and passed with 60 votes.

And we have a winner. The Affordable Care Act was not passed using reconciliation.

Except that it was.

You call me a douche then get pissy when you get it back? :eusa_hand:

Also yes, I am correct with my statement that both democrats and independents support the bill, with the only ones strongly against it and calling for it's repeal are the GOP.

I doubt the classic GOP constituency will allow for any substitution.

Maybe because Republicans are more American than socialist dimwits.

No, it's because democrats and independents love america, while the republicans are fascist hacks that are hellbent on destroying the nation.

Obamaturd and the current lefty idiots in the white house do not like America, they prove it all the time. Commies support the left.

I just looked at the toss ups and most of them are getting tighter. Florida, MA, ND, Montana and VA. Democrats had better not lose the senate.

Of course it was passed wiyh 60 votes, ya gd Pub dupes- They had to use that senate version because with the election if Scott Brown, the age of Pub paralysis began. Don't you remember all the deals Dems had to make to get the Blue dogs on board to get to 60? Absolute idiocy.

Luckily, the more people find out the truth, and that Pubcrappe is just that, the more they like it. The GOP may find its base of corporate cheats and moron Tea party fools may be all they're left with....

Once it gets rolling....even with a bunch of weenies on the other side.....McKaskill is toast in Mo.

Not lookinig good for Team ex-Obama.
