The moderate center of the democrat party is aware continued use of cultural revolution byproducts such as militant feminism, forced LGTBQ acceptance and mandating rights for illegal immigrants, at the cost of living conditions for multigenerational American citizens in their inherited communities, is a path to greater disaster than the 2016 presidential election. Tragicomically, they continue to double down on mainstreaming the radical American Left.

One of two things will be the result. Somehow, despite growing American aversion for radical Left insanity on the hoof, the democrats, in giving themselves over to its lunacy, will re-energize their base on a new platform of anti-Americanism by conversion to democratic socialism, consolidate and stand united in 2020. The second outcome is mass exodus of moderate liberals from the democrat party, leading to a landslide victory in two years time, no matter who the DNC props up to run against our POTUS. What follows could be historically unprecedented single party unity, and the drastic reduction or even end to the American Left as we've known it.

With democrats you have the far left, the middle left, Catholic Hispanics, basic church-going (or within the family recent memory of church-going) blacks, Rust Belt blue collar dems leaning purple. It's blanket is so much wider than the GOP that fringe insane platforms of it's furthest elements to the left CANNOT be embraced by all in this or any other universe.

This is why I brought up the Mook Mafia and its insular way of operating and thinking, as basically sole-advisors to the DNC. Fascinating--your mention of political correctness. I was recently contemplating the self-policing, self-hating aspects thereof. Your mention of PC brought to mind images of dogmatic sin and self-flagellation with actual flagellum, and torture by tightrope obedience to pedantic extremism. On one hand the DNC remains--outwardly--steeped in the tradition and appearance of its long history, even despite role reversals hardly fully definable or even relevant to a message board post. And yet the new youth democrat rad-PC-cultist--a political animal born on campuses and in internet forums nationwide--could not be more antithesis to the starched suits, skirts and juris doctorates saturating the Potomac.

Let's face it: the rolling assimilation by the cultural revolution, essentially begun in the 1960's, of numerous then grassroots movements has been the primary gas-in-the-tank of the democrat platform ever since. Without doubt more mechanical, organic economic and political structural apparatuses specific to the American moderate Left distinguish democrats from the Right, however, without the cultural revolution platforms of many minority rights movements, the DNC would have very little to run their candidates on.

Now, oh, now all those minority focused assistance guarantee platforms have extended far beyond the elasticity of the snapping point most Americans will tolerate or dismiss as "trends for the crazy kids." Now, as you say, Americans on all sides want to bail. Question is, is it too late for the DNC to quietly back away from the radical Left's grandstanding madness (as loudly as possible), or will PC prevent them from the megaphone loud criticism of the far Left necessary for them to make the break, or commit seppuku?

What I don't particularly care for are animals backed into corners--they tend to do one thing consistently: the unpredictable. The run up to November midterms will be fraught with antics I am sure. It's over the months afterward the American Left's new breed will emerge in all it's terrific new splendor; hopefully generic, sane, and moderate.

Not in a roundabout way at all. Their plan is to make whites a minority in this country ASAP. Every other group outside of whites vote a majority Democrat. They're not above hypocrisy, or internal serious mental disconnect either. Yesterday a friend of mine who works as a clerk at a store that serves many tourists from around the world told me a funny story. She said a bunch of these college-forum uber left liberals (dread locks, smooching in line in throes of "free love" displays in public) bought..... commercial canned chili with meat and other "forbidden items", all using credit cards! She laughed imagining them just having had a conversation about "sticking it to the man!" while they bought "the man's" chili and used "the man's" credit card system to pay for it! We did have a good laugh over that one.

I don’t know, among my fellow humans I have seen a drastic drift away from all that’s political, as well as absence of being fed up with politicians . I think these politicians are doing what they think will keep them riding the gravy train, not what their voters want. Let the left swing more left.
