It's why Hillary attacked Robbie Mook just after the 2016 election was finalized. She attacked him because his agenda destroyed all the stuff she and her friends had worked so hard for. People who hate the Trump Administration have a very serious case of misplaced anger.

Of course now the fringe left is in full-desperation spin mode to convince their more moderate party members to not look too deeply into who is responsible for why all the good dem causes were shit-canned. This article spins the democrat whipping in 2016 on Russian interference via leaked Hillary emails. But dems in Congress took a whipping too. How did Hillary's emails hurt them? Everyone expected presidential candidates to have a shady snag or seven. The article even admits the voters were unbelievably forgiving of Trump's outrageous past (for a POTUS candidate anyway). So all things being equal (two outrageous candidates) the issue COULD NOT HAVE BEEN "leaked personality flaws" in emails. The issue was something else. As I've maintained all along, the issue was the leader of the entire democratic party (B. Obama) issuing a public mandate forcing girls in public schools to shower, change and share bathrooms with deranged boys, under threat of punishment for schools should they fail to comply. That kind of shit hits home right at the dinner table and only the most insane, fringe lunatic parents of any middle demographic would continue to affiliate themselves with such horror.

Shenanigans between adults is one thing. But you put the hurt on kids as representative of your entire party's platform and you lose elections.

Again, I missed the point where this was even discussed during the election. Trump mostly stayed away from LGBT issues during the campaign, and so did Hillary. It just wasn't a factor.

Here's the thing. Trump got the exact same demographic that Romney and McCain got.

He got 57% of the White Vote, 28% of the Hispanic vote and 8% of the black vote... just like Romney got (58, 27 and 6, respectively). He really didn't move the needle on how people voted, as he got 46% of the total vote compared to 47% that Romney got.

Where Hillary lost ground, and I'm sorry I have to keep explaining this to you, is with third party voters. The 1% of the electorate the voted for the Green Party was not voting for more homophobia, they were voting for more socialism.

The people who voted for the Libertarian Party did so because they could protest the two awful candidates the main parties ran.

Meanwhile, Evan McCullough, who was supposed to be the protest vote for Conservatives who realized Trump was a fraud fizzled.

At the end of the day, Hillary was a corrupt, unlikeable candidate who most Democrats had no use for, and she still got 3 million more votes for Trump.
